15.6.18 A memory of snow, now that we’re in the summer holidays. I took this in January, when I was doing hydrochemical geography calculations of glacier environments for a coursework assignment. I got 87%! A really high first! Xxx Emily

All that’s been on my mind is finishing this damn book. I’m on page 954 of 1153, so i have to finish it today.
Philosophy exam on Monday & sociology on Tuesday so my day is consumed with revision! *-*
me, sneaking in shots of my planner in class secretively so my classmates don’t judge me while also getting the Most of natural lighting? more likely than you think.
[ day 5 : 14-day organization challenge ] - ideal routines
i originally wanted to make an actual schedule, but a) i suck at sticking to a set timetable and b) school only gives out its schedule after we start (+ training sometimes ends late or early so the times i get back are unpredictable) so maybe just setting goals and a morning/night routine would be best.
also ft my cute studio ghibli card deck (castle in the sky needs more attention honestly)
my cozy room in the middle of manhattan pt. 2, newly redecorated
tbh the real advice I’d give to anyone is, do shit alone. go to a museum & go at your own pace & leave the instant you’re done. go somewhere you’ve never been and just wander around, duck into & out of places as it pleases you. linger as long as you’d like.
07.23.18 [9/100 days of productivity]
I started my new job today! After 2.5 hours of training I now know where most of the things are kept, and how to do most of the stuff that doesn’t involve actual customer service. Oh, and the register.
I’m hoping that if I get enough hours at this job I can afford to move out really soon because living at home is unbearable for a number of reasons.
Notes are a result of my continued efforts to get a leg up for calculus come fall semester. I’m supposed to be working on some code too but I’m having a few issues installing the right software so thats been put on hold.

things that exist but you can’t see:
people thinking about you and smiling
flowers growing in your heart
the moon’s affection for you
how much you’ve healed already
a lovely future written in the stars
