Here comes the first day of the last year of the month, and no doubt, this season is the most awaited by most Filipinos. Christmas is getting near!
Christmas lights are one of the things I fancy because they make me feel like I’m a kiddo again, showing a big smile as the lights dance in front of me.
But then again, after a few moments, I’m back to the world full of responsibilities and duties. *sigh* Only a few days left and I’ll finally get a two-week long vacation! I can’t wait!

Honestly, I haven't tried painting my nails with any color. I always have them coated with just a colorless polish and sometimes, I would have a french tip. The reason is, I don't feel comfortable with colored nails and I'm afraid I'd just waste it because I often do chores that would ruin them such as doing the dishes and the laundry.
But today, my girly side become dominant, I didn't have second thoughts when LeBunny Bleu offered free nail art, partnered with Bandi!
This is actually my first time to have my nails painted (with color, I mean) and even had a nail art! Kudos to Ms. May (I believe that's her name, I forgot to confirm and tell her we're tukayos haha), who did a good job despite telling she doesn't really do nail art!
Just a little story though, I started to like LeBunny Bleu, because, as you would guess, blue is one of their branding colors (well, blue-white combo is my ultimate fave!). Haha. Then suddenly, I just fell in love with their shoes, I even want to start collecting my favorites! Seriously, I always have a hard time deciding what pair to get whenever I go to their store. How I wish I could buy more than just one on my every visit, but I had to budget, you know. :)
Going back... Bandi has a lot of colors to choose from, I got confused with all the shades of blue until I ended up choosing the baby blue instead, it's so LeBunny Bleu! :)
I lost track of time, but I think the whole procedure took almost an hour, not including the 1 hour of waiting for my turn. It was that long but the outcome is definitely worth the wait! When it's finally done, I was really careful not to smudge it even though she told me it's already dry. I can't help it, I don't want to ruin the cuteness! :) I really hope I can make this last for at least a week. Hehe.

Lately I’ve been playing safe, afraid of what consequences taking risks might give me. Very different from who I was before, I kept opportunities just slip away right in front of me. The worst was, I’m already holding it, but I decided to let it go.
I can fly, I know, I can spread my wings to fly and see the world, but there is something that keeps me from doing that. How I wish I can do something I want without considering how the people around me would be affected.
Where is this girl few years ago who never holds back? I hope I could spend some time with her, with my old self.
Months ago, I have already decided to cut my hair short because my hair is already reaching my waist and it’s getting annoying. Or might as well let’s just say I just need this change.
I have told a few friends about this including my mama and even Gerald and guess what, I didn’t hear them say not to cut it. They were even excited! Most would probably regret it because we all know how long and hard it takes for our hair to grow longer but really, it’s just hair, it would eventually grow back.
Despite of gathering all the courage to decide, I still waited for the right time. And that came when I least expect it, when a sudden thought that came to Gerald, wanting to get his hair cut. And there I was, still hesitant but still gave it a go.
You know what they say that girls would look younger with short hair? I didn’t feel that way. Weird, because I feel like I looked a little more mature(?). Gerald even said I looked like a different person. I don’t know. What do you think?

Watching a movie is one of my past times, especially that I don't have a TV in the dorm. More often, I just watch on my phone than go to cinemas. But whenever I see a movie trailer that looks really really good, I make sure that I watch it on the big screen. Aside from the plot, I'm always after the movie's special effects that amuse me.
Last Wednesday, I went to the Powerplant Mall to watch The Maze Runner brought by Liv Co. This movie has been mentioned to me by Gerald, who is a movie buff by the way, that is why when I told him that I'm going to watch it, he felt a little sad that he can't come with me because of his work schedule.
I've always thought it's lonely to watch a movie alone, but not with The Maze Runner! Aside from this cute guys I found (Minho and Newt!), the story kept me going. There's never a dull moment from start to finish! All along, I got curious what's inside the maze, why they were deposited in that community, and how they're going to able to get out of it, OR will they be able to get out? All of these questions were answered by the end of the movie, however more questions arose on my mind! There's definitely going to be a Part 2! I'm not sure when that will be but I'm sure it's going to be a long wait! Should I start reading the book series now?
The movie certainly exceeded my expectations based from its trailer. There's a lot of suspense and thrill that would make your heart beat fast and stop your breathing for a few seconds, then later on you'll let out a deep exhale. Aside from the action, you'll also find yourself laughing at some scenes, which is good, I think. The movie also shows what kind of friendship guys have. It's very different from the girls, and I know since I've been friends with more guys than girls for more than 5 years already. There were also moments that would make you emotional, I almost cried (I tried my best not to!).
I totally recommend this movie and I am surely waiting for the next part to come out! Now let me add this to my movies-to-watch-out list! Haha.

One project after another with tight timelines that sometimes overlap with another one, I was so busy at work and I can't complain but rather say that I'm blessed to be given with a lot of work. Despite of that, I still have the time to do other stuff - freelance work, jogging, shopping and even a blog revamp.
I can be very random at times when creative juices are overflowing that I end up pouring them all over my blog. There are always moments when I think one thing should be changed, sooner or later. And as I redesign my blog, I ask myself, shall I give myself a makeover too?
Two adjustments have passed and so far this is when I felt my teeth “adjusting” the most. However, unlike the previous ones, I didn’t feel it right after it was adjusted. The feeling came after a week or two.
My teeth were moving sideways, covering the two holes the teeth extraction made. It is too obvious not to notice that my teeth are actually moving. It’s amazing how these metals and rubbers actually do their jobs, however, my teeth look weird right now because of the little spaces that Gerald even said they are “one seat apart”.
I’m actually looking forward to the day when these holes are fully covered and I wonder how my dentist would make that happen without leaving extra spaces. I’ll have to ask her on my next appointment like I always do.
We’re down to three months, braces. We still have a long way to go!

I consider sweets as a guilty pleasure of mine, not because I worry about the calories I get, but because my throat and tonsils can’t tolerate too much sweetness. Given that, I am always ready to accept the consequence of having either sore throat or tonsilitis (that often lead to fever) after indulging to my craving. A moment of happiness results to days of being sick and it sucks. I just hope the technique I did would work so I won’t be able to get sick this week because I have to attend a 3-day training.
Lately, I’ve been hooked to watching Korean dramas, for it has been my only way to escape from reality because sleeping is not enough anymore. Before, I am into romantic-comedy genre, but since a colleague recommended suspense/action/thriller ones, I can say that I like it more.
I am sharing the three latest Korean dramas I’ve watched, hoping you’ll like them too. I actually didn't read the plots of these before watching it to add more "suspense" and not have any idea how the story goes and just surprise myself with every scene. But I decided to include the plots here, to save yourself some time from searching it on Google.

This has a little bit of fantasy, which is the main twist of the drama. But there are more than that! While watching it, you’ll get confused and keep guessing who the killer is. I’m not gonna give any clues not even a hint on how I felt with the ending. But seriously, I still had questions left unanswered after it ended.

I know, I know, after 14 days, here comes 3 Days. Haha. This one is more on a political side. I got a little confused with all the political terms and stuff, but I still prefer it than historical dramas. This has a little bit of romantic side, and I just love how they included it in the drama. I find it really amazing how this made me feel kilig without the inclusion of intimate scenes.

Eun Dae-gu, Eo Soo-sun, Park Tae-il and Ji Gook — otherwise known as the P4 — are the new recruits in the violent crimes unit at Gangnam Police Station. This has probably the lightest mood because the characters are so funny! Haha. And you might think this has simplest story to begin with because you’ll think that is where everything will revolve, but it still has a lot of twists and revelations. What I like about this is that it also involves romance so you’ll get kilig from time to time. Hihi.
This is still ongoing and I can’t wait for the last two episodes to be shown this week.
So, what's my favorite among the three?
I really can't tell, since they're all different from each other. Seriously, I have thought over it and I really can't pick a favorite. I totally recommend these three! Let me know if you've already watched or if you're going to watch any of these.
Right when I woke up, I peeked from the window to see the situation - no flood, no heavy rain, but the wind is so strong. Few minutes after, there's power interruption. Last night, work for government offices has been suspended and that means something. Just when I decided not to go to work anymore, I received an HR advisory. Thank God, I can just stay in the dorm and be safe.
I spent my morning just eating, browsing for news about the typhoon, talking to mama over the phone and updating each other, read few chapters of The One and eventually, slept.
