I don't remembers whether or not anyone on here has said this before, but when it comes to the the ML writers' decision to subvert Chloe's redemption and becoming more villainous instead, I think I'm more bothered by the execution than the idea itself.
Genuinely I was low-key talking about this earlier with like.
Stick to the idea that she's just an evil asshole. Don't give her any sympathetic moments where she cares for others. Don't give her any tragedy in her family situation to explain why she's like that. Don't show her wanting to be better and that she's doing all this to be loved. Skip over having Hawkmoth pull a campaign of fucking with her head to break her down and just go right for 'he offers out of nowhere she agrees' or even her seeking him out.
Or, the other direction. The tragedy. This is a child stuck in the cycle of abuse and further manipulated by a supervillain and despite wanting to be better and despite the Hero trying to save her, it goes awry because the situation is so borked that despite best efforts it's all too much and she gives up hope.
chloe’s outfit in the show might be the worst out of every character. the girl is the daughter of the mayor of Paris and a fashion icon, why is she wearing a belt i could find in hot topic. i hate her outfit. much like adrien, i decided she needed more designer brands represented. she got mostly chanel with some louis vuitton.
the real question here is does she want to be wearing these clothes. in my version, her mothers influence on her is a lot more apparent. she tries to live up to the expectation that audrey has placed on her. in doing so she forgoes her own tastes to look more like the people in her mothers magazine. as queen bee, she’s allowed a bit more of the self-expression she’d otherwise like to have; a more fun ponytail with less styled bangs, a fluffy sweater, “fingerless gloves”, no heels.
i don’t dislike her original queen bee look, she actually has one of the few designs i didn’t dislike. i just thought she could use a sweater and then worked the rest from there. i pretty much kept her hair as is outside of giving her more streaks of black. her hair design was perfect.
pollen got a little upgrade. i really like the idea that chloe saw pollens general being and decided to match her queen bee outfit to it which is why there are a few similarities.
the miraculous itself was a bit harder to design, they always will be for me. in her civilian form, it’s meant to be passed off as more of an heirloom accessory. in its activated form, i like to think it doubles as a communication device, the antennae can curl down to be a microphone and ear bud. when she transforms the antennae also uncurl from the metal.
this will probably be it until art fight is over, as i’ve started to prep for it, so the next one (luka) will more than likely come out in august or september. i have an idea of what i’m doing for him outfit wise so it depends on what posing will be like. my current plan is to finish luka and kagami and then work on other fandom stuff. if there’s any series, movies, book characters, etc that you’d like to see me redesign let me know. i love reconceptualizing.
as always more character au stuff below the cut.
her character as a whole is a bit… one dimensional. she’s your classic rich mean girl, the foil to our mc.
this is why she likes adrien so much. he is her friend but not because he has to be. he gets what it’s like to have a parent in the fashion industry, one with eyes on you and not wanting to disappoint them. he pushes back when she goes too far and she respects him for it. i think a lot of her crush comes from the fact that there is no other person who cares about her like he does. he was her first friend and that holds a lot of weight.
she goes through the five stages of grief, descending into the worst version of herself. at first she acts like she doesn’t care that it wasn’t even that big of loss, but she misses pollen. then she gets spiteful and resentful. why did it have to be her to lose everything? and when she finds out her half sister took up the mantle? she loses it. she teams up with lila and wreaks havoc. eventually she realizes how much harm she’s done, how many people she accidentally caused to be akumatized, and, her final breaking point, loses adrien as a friend. she leaves lila and she just stops caring, about everything. marinette’s the one who brings her back from the edge and through her friendship begins to turn her life around.
Tumblr sexyman tournament is coming, and an obscure character very dear to me is in it. Unfortunately, he will face a powerhouse in the first match... but I will not give up!
And that is why I did this presentation for you, Howl fans. Let's make an alliance against an evil triangle out there.
@sexy-people-contests-2026 some piece of propaganda.
Heh, she’s speaking Portuguese! Here’s what she’s saying:
*baby voice* “… and if you have any questions, just ask me! And now… yeah. And now you draw the roots. You draw them all twisted up! Got it? A flower? Now draw it. Did you get it, Luis Roberto? Did you get it, Jurandir? Look. Did you get it? That’s how you draw a flower.”
Luis Roberto and Jurandir are people names (Jurandir is especially a name associated with older men) so it’s extra funny that the cats are named that, heh.
IT’S NOT FUNNY IT’S VERY LOGICAL THAT HE WOULD HAVE ADJUSTED TO LIVING LIFE WHILE HE WAS IN SPACE BECAUSE IT’S DIFFERENT FROM EARTH BUT I CAN’T FING BREATHE
Artist and stamp creator Nakashima723 has put together an instructional graphic to help defend against unwanted sexual advances. The image, which has been shared 16,406 times, illustrates four specific defenses that could be used if a target finds themselves trapped between a wall and their attacker. The suggestions are based specifically on the difference between the attacker and defender’s height.
Image 1 If your attacker is approximately your height, with both arms blocking an exit, a swift jab to the tender armpit can cause a great deal of pain.
Image 2 In this position, where the individual is slightly taller than you, the image recommends a punch to the solar plexus. The solar plexus is right under the breastbone and a blow to it causes the feeling of having the wind knocked out of you.
Image 3 If you find yourself trapped with someone a head taller than you, the picture recommends a classic uppercut to the chin.
Image 4 In the last image, when facing someone significantly taller than you, the image shows a jumping headbutt to the chin. Please note that headbutting someone is risky, as it can injure both parties depending on what part of the head comes in contact.
Besides self-defense techniques, Nakashima723 also illustrates stickers on LINE and other examples of the pros and cons of height differences.
