“TWITTER” TEMPLATE PSD – katyazamowrites

hello everyone! i decided to do something a little different (and i sure do hope all the gifs synced up) and i have made a twitter screencap template. this template is based on screencaps of twitter i took from twitter’s desktop version and is completely made from scratch by me. it features both the main “top” tweet and all the replies underneath, including a picture/gif/video version. note that the gif/video doesn’t actually play – i figured this would be easier for everyone involved, as while i have the video timeline version of cc, some people don’t, and i think the screencap of the gif/video works pretty much to the same effect. plus it’s a “screencap” of twitter. if you want to mess around with the template and make the gif/video play, by all means, go right ahead! i just wanted to give something that worked for everyone. this template also works best when you have multiple characters who can reply to the main tweet, but if you just want to use the main tweet or just the replies, it’s all up to you! every element of this psd is customizable and everything is categorized into groups so you know where to go to edit everything. both versions of the reply tweets are in the same psd, just in two different groups, so be sure to click them on/off for whichever you want.

you will need a working knowledge of clipping masks in order to use this, and the font is HELVETICA NEUE. i’m pretty sure it’s a default font so everyone should have it but just in case! if you need to make the replies longer, the one thing i will say is that you may need to move things down and take out a tweet or two, and if you need to add more lines to the main tweet, you may need to make the font smaller or move some stuff down. please do not take credit for this and like/reblog if using, i appreciate it! i do not take requests.

recommendations

if something isn’t working (i.e. toggle is enabled but not working) then please disable, reable and then refresh your page. all should be well.
