“Yeah well what can I say - any hole will do!” Louis’s eyes betrayed him staying focused on the road ahead refusing to look in the rear view mirror, his knuckles now white from gripping the steering wheel so hard. He couldn’t back down now, not when Harry was being so vicious.

“Harry I'm a fucking builder, you are lucky I didn't say they are green like mouldy bread so your welcome!” Louis held up his beer bottle and gestured a salute.

Louis and Harry are both self employed builders who have been rivals for 2 years, when bidding for the same property they formed an unexpected alliance and bought a derelict Victorian property in order to prevent Cowell from demolishing it.

Harry is besotted with Louis and has had a crush on him for years. Cowell is a nasty piece of work who targets Harry because of their past, this a story of discovery and two people who help to make each other brave.
