I feel like David is heavily insinuating that there is going to be some tension between Hop and Joyce in season 5 and I am kinda excited by that. That could mean so many things.

when you think about it they could have had jopper kiss during their first date. like they could’ve kept the slow burn going longer. they didn’t BECAUSE jim hopper is going to propose during the date. i said what i said

I’m really interested in where the conflict between them will go now. Sure I want to see them kicking ass together and being sweet, but I also want to see a bit more conflict. Like maybe Joyce arguing with him for putting himself in danger so much. At this point in Hoppers arc, he has too much to live for. Unlike all of the other seasons. He was even willing to die for El’s safety because he knew Joyce was going to take care of her (probably better than he could). But at this point Joyce and El need him alive more than anything. Also… cause he already put them through that shit.

Stranger Things VS Beetlejuice!!!

Can you imagine a crossover between Stranger Things and Beetlejuice? What if … Will discovers Beetlejuice's existence and is trapped in his world? Ho that the Deetz family got stuck in hawkins and El and the kids make friends with Lydia? Wouldn't she become a beautiful fanficton? While it would be fun to see Betelgeuse invade the city, she kidnaps Joyce believing she is Lydia, and Hopper and her friends try to save her! Tell me yours!

I need to see Hopper talking to Joyce about Sara and what she was like.

I need to see Hopper tell Joyce that it's likely Sara got cancer because he was exposed to Agent Orange, and how he will never forgive himself for it.

I need to see Hopper tell Joyce he gave Sara's hairband to El, and explain how important it was to him to see El still wearing it after his return from Russia.

I need to see Joyce talk to Hopper about her emotionally abusive relationship with Lonnie.

I need to see Joyce talk about how hard it was raising her sons, while working full-time and dealing with Lonnie.

I need to see Joyce tell Hopper how much she appreciates the way he cares for her sons.

I need Jopper to talk about their mental health issues, which have both been shown and implied in the show. Joyce's anxiety and family history of mental health issues. Her PTSD after the events of S1+2. Hopper's grief, depression and anxiety, PTSD, drug dependence and alcoholism. His physical and emotional torture in S4.

I need Jopper to delve into their past lives, their past loves, and failed marriages and talk about it on screen! I need them to discuss their trauma!
