((My antivirus didnt notify me of anything wrong with my computer, but what if it's a virus that only effects a persons tumblr account? I don't want to get hacked.

Other than stopping to make a show of wiping off his cheek, he clearly gave no mind to her teasing. “I assumed you would, logic and reasoning have ever been your strong points, have they? Well I suppose I can humour you this once.”

"I accept your truly heartfelt surrender." She nodded sagely, not quite able to keep the smugness out of her voice. Ah~ Victory was indeed sweet.

"So, you are here simple to blather aimlessly at me, while I am currently dealing with a terrible affliction?" He crossed a ‘t’ with particular relish, pleased at his latest attempt at a sentence. "How cruel."

"Oh my, an affliction? What affliction?" Jo placed her hand to her chest in fuex-surprise. "I haven’t the foggiest clue what you are talking about, Bakura. Seeing’s how I was ordered not to acknowledge any strangeness about you when I first got here, remember?"

"You need no acknowledge it in order to allow it to inspire compassion within you." He sighs and puts the pen down, rubbing his hands together and stretching his slim fingers. "Regardless, that was not the point of my question."

Jo frowned and became a little more serious. "You're not really sick, are you? Like, is this some sort of Star-desease, or whatever? I thought someone just dyed your wings black, or something..."

A sharp sneer was the only response to her surprise and he gave a few gentle flaps of his wings for effect. “Land? I assumed that was the general intention.” 

He watched her carrying the box, flapping his wings to propel himself forwards as she walked. “I should hope so. Hurry up with this treat.”

Jo rolled her eyes and nodded towards the field. “Alright alright, let’s go. I really do think you’re gonna like this though. I mean, who DOESN’T like fireworks?” Sending him another grin, she adjusted the big box in her arms and set off into the tall grass, towards the middle of the field.

"I am sure I will, one way or another." He mimed aiming a tube at her, chuckling. "After all you have quite a lot to make up for do you not. I trust you’d choose an appropriate method of apology." Guessing her destination he flapped a little harder and flew to the middle to wait for her.

"Yeah yeah…" Jo merely rolled her eyes and continued forward through the field. She was in too high of spirits to let his usual "friendliness" get to her. Upon reaching the center of the field, Jo smiled a little as she looked around. The grass in this particular area had been beaten down terribly, and there were chared remains of past amature fireworks shows. This spot was obviously popular around this time of year.

Going over to Bakura, Jo finally set the box down before digging around inside.

Burnt things were always pleasing to Bakura, and he had noted with interest the damage done to the grass by what he assumed were prior events of these fireworks. When Jo seemed satisfied with the place and was focused on the contents of her box Bakura moved a few steps closer to peer in himself. He lightly pressed a wing against her to give himself space to dip his own hand into the box for a rocket, withdrawing a brightly coloured tube to inspect.

Glancing up at him, Jo grinned at the prize in the Star's hand. "Heh, be careful with THAT one, kay? That's one of the one's we're saving til the end. I splurged on that sucker, it's practically professional grade, so you KNOW it's gonna be something to behold." 

She resumed digging in the box. "Now, we just need to decide was smaller ones we should start with...Oh!" She laughed as she pulled out a thin box that was less than a foot long. "Okay, these aren't really fireWORKS, they're more like fireCRACKERS, but not really. But who cares, they're still great."

Opening the box, she pulled out a couple of very thin, odd yet plain looking, sticks. "I don't suppose you've ever heard of "sparklers", have you?"
