He did more than that, Josephine, but in the end, Envy and I worked through it because I grew to love him, but the wounds were still there. Envy has worked every day to help us get past that, just as he is now. Ramiel does love her, Josephine– any time I'm near him, I can feel it. It's like staring into the sun with my abilities, and he would never hurt her. Ramiel cares for those who don't treat him like the monster, or machine made by his King's hand. This isn't me telling you how to feel. I just wanted to let you know that he isn't lying about how he feels about your daughter.
I know we are more than our past mistakes. If I judged every single person based on one moment in their lives, then I wouldn't have anyone. You don't have to make a case for him to me, Gianna, his son has already done such on behalf of his father and my granddaughter very strongly advocated for him in an intensity rivaling Ramiel. Knowing you feel his intentions, feelings he can't mask, I'm willing to give him one chance. One chance proving to me he's worthy of Blair without qualm.
