I’m moving around the corner. Actually, next door. In fact, to a Tumblr with the same name. Move with me!
Hey! Start following me here you guys!

Thank you!!! :)
I'm doing a red rock illustration at work and did this this morning as a warm up! So much fun!
This is a picture of Lehi, an ancestor of the ancient American prophet/historian Mormon (compiler of the Book of Mormon). He is holding a compass God prepared for his family that worked according to their faith.
This is a piece I did as a concept for work at the LDS Motion Picture Studio. We do a lot more than movies and I saw this as a potential meme. We got pulled on to other projects and I felt it was high time I shared it here!
On Thursday I went with my artist friends Jess Smart Smiley and Mitch Parker to see Gene Luen Yang speak at the Salt Lake City Public Library! So amazing! He talked about his awesome books Boxers and Saints and his process and how connected they are to him, his experiences and his culture. It was so great! Afterwards Jess, Mitch and I talked awhile about art, why we make it and our experiences. It was seriously an "Art Soup for the Soul" night! So good! Thanks so much for the invite Jess!
Inktober: Shotgun Jimmy Poster FINISHED!
I finished the poster/comic book cover! This was so much fun! I will keep you posted on the film and where you can find out more about it!
I also included some logos I did for it!
Inktober: Mild Eel Joke
A little Inktober I painted up. I think this file saved out a little more vibrant than intended but I'm just posting it anyway! Happy fishing! Or eeling? If we don't do enough eeling the eel population will hit its ceiling! :)
Inktober: Billy Bones
Billy Bones! That scarecrow of a pirate, drunk as a doornail (and shortly dead as one) from Treasure Island! I finished out the 3 pirates in my sketchbook fold out cover. A lot of fun! You can't go wrong with pirates! Happy Inktober!
Inktober: Shotgun Jimmy Lines
A little while ago I posted the thumbnail and color study I did for Shotgun Jimmy. Check out the ink lines! SO MUCH FUN TO DO! I can't wait to show you the color version! It turned out great! October was such great month for stuff! Inktober! This was so satisfying to do!
Inktober: Commodus
If we're drawing nutty Nero we've gotta draw crazy Commodus! This is the guy that proclaimed himself Hercules incarnate and had statues made of him wearing lions' fur! Inktober was a blast!
Inktober: Nero
Looked up some Roman emperors. Looks like there's nuts in every age! This was the guy that just played music as the city burned. This was one of my favorite things from Inktober!
Inktober: Vampires
Just a fast vampire for Inktober. Truth be told I liked the sketches better. I do like the little vampire's face. Happy Inktober!
Inktober: Gravestones
Here's what the tombstone I posted earlier looked like before some Photoshop adjustments. Man did I love doing these ink drawrings! Inktober all the way!
Inktober: Headstones
I made a flyer for my Church group and drew these headstones. I quite enjoyed them. Inktober was great! Keep looking!
Inktober: Long John Silver
For Inktober I decided to draw a different pirate from Treasure Island on the 3 panels of my sketchbook. Here's the 2nd one I did. Long John Silver! A great liar and an even better pirate! Posted it to Instagram but never got it on this Tumblr.
Inktober: Owl
During Inktober I drew this cute owl. I think he's pretty nice. First posted him to Instagram.
