Zex huffed a sigh out, pacing behind one of the wait stations in her work. She was tired, body aching from running orders back and forth and back and forth. It was enough to make her feet ache even in non-slip shoes. She was ready to run. Flee back to her quiet apartment. A taller man appeared from one of the kitchen doors, lifting his chin at her and motioning it was alright for her to leave. She nodded.
The woman was out of the building in a matter of minutes, tugging the scarf tighter around her neck, blocking out a coming chill. Hands stuffed into her pockets and turned down the road, hurrying down the street.
It wouldn’t be her life however if she didn’t plow down a person or two in her haste to leave, and was thrown on her own ass. “Goddamn.”
Olette stared blankly at her laptop, arching her back to to stretch her her stiff muscles. She relaxed her body slightly, huffing as she looked at the screen more. She outlined her research paper, but she had no motivation to actually write it. The brunette would do anything other than write this essay. Unfortunately, her beach bum of a boyfriend wasn't around to entertain her. She was up to have some 'fun' with him. Instead, Olette opted to go outside and get some fresh air, maybe go for a walk.
She grabbed her jacket, putting on her shoes as she walked out of the house she was sharing with her boyfriend. She shivered from the cold, holding the jacket closer to her. She loved the fall season, but she could live without the cold. And with winter coming, it was just going to get colder. She sighed, walking down the street when she felt someone bump into her.
Olette stumbled backwards, managing to stay on her feet as she leaned against a building wall. She looked down, noticing a slate haired female on the ground. Her eyes widened as she scrambled to go help her. "O-Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Do you need some help?" She asked, holding out her hand to the female.

Neku blinked after a moment, realizing that it wasn’t a stranger at all, but a very familiar friend that was ringing the bell. He furrowed his brow and tilted his head. What in the world was Olette doing here. He knew that the girl hada penchant for tea, but this place was more of a coffee joint. He shrugged it off and shook his hair out of his face. It was nice to see a friendly face a midst the glowering and angry customers every once and a while.
"Well you could’ve just called or something. I swear I’m going to put that bell into the blender and serve it tot he next person who rings it." Neku chuckled before smiling softly up at Olette. "You do realize that this place doesn’t exactly serve tea right? We’re more of a coffee shop."
Olette couldn't help but laugh when she saw Neku's surprised expression. "Well, the bell is there to get the attention of the barista, and here you are! So it works just fine, don't you think?" She normally doesn't step into this particular coffee shop due to the lack of tea, but since a good friend of hers was here, it didn't hurt to drop in and say hi. "I am fully aware of the lack of tea, unfortunately. But luckily, I'm actually here to see if you so stopping by wasn't pointless after all."
She laughed once more, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear as she smiled at the orange haired male. It felt like forever since she saw Neku or any of her friends. So it was quite nice to be in contact with him again. "It's been a while, Neku. Anything exciting happen to you recently?"
