Welcome to J/P Week 2026!

This year’s event runs August 17-23, and the community-chosen theme is:

✨Secrets✨

A hidden relationship, accidentally discovered; a secret marriage; a single stolen moment. Maybe somebody stumbles upon a mission report that leaves out a little too much out. Maybe J/P have a shared history they never discuss. Anything concealed, discovered, confessed, or finally brought into the light counts. 🤫

All fanworks are welcome: fic, art, gifs, fanvids, you name it. Works should be human-made and new for this event or previously unpublished. Please, no AI.

✱ How to Participate

➊ Choose a date between August 17 and August 23, 2026. Then message this blog or send an ask with that date, so we can get you on the schedule. Sign-ups are open!

➋ Create a Janeway x Paris fanwork inspired by the theme of Secrets & post it on your chosen date.

J/P Week 2026 FAQ

We are one! week! away! from sign-ups opening, so here is your handy-dandy guide to all things J/P Week 🥳

✱ What is J/P Week?

J/P Week is, you guessed it, a week-long event celebrating Janeway x Paris. For 2026, the event runs August 17–23, and the community-chosen theme is Secrets.

✱ How do I sign up?

Sign-ups open July 1. Choose a posting date between August 17 and August 23, then send this blog an ask or message with that date.

✱ Do I have to sign up to participate?

Yes, please.

✱ What if all the dates are taken?

What a wonderful problem to have! We'll just double up on those dates as needed.

✱ Can multiple people have the same date?

Please try to choose an open spot first, until all the dates are filled. Otherwise, yes, see above.

✱ Can I post early/late?

You can do whatever you want, forever. But the AO3 collection won't open until August 16 (to account for time zone shenanigans) and this blog, operating out of Pacific Time, will reblog according to assigned dates.

If need to change your date or post late, no worries - just message the blog.

✱ What kinds of fanworks are allowed?

All of them. Whatever makes your J/P heart happy.

✱ Does my work have to be new?

Yes and no. Works should be new for this event, or previously unpublished.

✱ Is AI-generated work allowed?

Nope. ✌️

✱ Do I have to be a member of JuPiter Station 2.0 to participate?

No. This event was designed by the members of the JuPiter Station 2.0 community through many many rounds of submissions and voting and discussion, but it is open to everyone.

✱ Can my work include other relationships?

Of course, but Janeway/Paris should be the main pairing.

✱ Can I combine this with another event or prompt?

Yes, as long as the other event allows it too.

✱ Where do I post my work?

Post wherever you like. If you're sharing somewhere off-Tumblr and want it reblogged here, send in a message or ask with a link.

So, hypothetically, let’s say my kidfic is getting out of hand and will have several chapters… do I post the first chapter on my date? Or should I have the whole story up by then? (I hope not because this hypothetical monster will probably not be finished in a week 😬)

hi. i'd like to claim the kidfic spot on July 10 if it's still available and if it's okay that my story is a sequel to another story of mine.

If approved, I'll post it on July 10th on archive. I'm not sure how to post on tumblr, but I'll try to figure it out.

Also, 90% of all my J/P fics are kidfic, so I guess I'm kinda cheating.
