there was this moment on voyager when they were encountering the scary species from the hell dimension (species 8437 or whatever) and kes was having visions about it in med bay and they brought her to the bridge and even before neelix or whoever was done saying "kes is having relevant visions" janeway with one eye still on the big screen held out an arm to kes, to beckon her forward and guide her to her side and bring her in on the situation

and it's just so janeway. she loves everybody so goddamn much. with her whole body!

Because puppy love is a sure cure for sore hearts.

(And maybe a tiny little part of him just wanted to one-up Q by offering Janeway not one puppy, but a whole pack of them).

Maybe it's just me, but in the Voyager finale, Admiral Janeway kinda has this ex-lover sort of vibe with the borg queen. Maybe it took 23 years to get home because Janeway was dating the borg queen.
