She‘s been doing worse, and I‘m absolutely terrified she‘ll get back into that spiral

She had a burnout, I couldn‘t recognise the woman who raised me for 20 years

And I‘ve been trying everything to avoid having to talk to a shell of a woman I love

I‘ve been running around with cause but missing direction, like a headless chicken trying to speed up the process of dying

I might be losing myself in the process

But it would be worth it if she‘d get better again

Violence is an option - just not always physical

People who genuinely love you want you to succeed - no matter the cost

Love isn‘t always enough - even when they say it is

Pushing people away will only bring them closer - if they are meant for you

People‘s expectations aren‘t always meant for you - making everyone happy is impossible

An eating disorder will use anything as an excuse - which is why it‘s so dangerous

Listen to the alarm in your head - it sounds for a reason

Surviving isn‘t living - you‘ll feel the difference

A situation is only as complicated as you make it - step back, take a breath, restart

Stable isn‘t a perpetual state of being - you can‘t spend your life on a plateau

Trauma doesn‘t always come from abuse - but from not having your needs met

Restarting Life (again)

Y‘all it‘s been a wild year (TM). I got a boyfriend, got a social life, started playing Magic The Gathering, nearly died (twice) (unfortunately in the literal sense, no I am not joking), got my Bachelor’s degree, started working on my Master’s thesis before getting said Bachelor’s degree because I’m a covky bitch, broke up with my boyfriend because he made me feel bad about myself, etc etc.

So once more, I have returned to my safe haven. My little corner of the internet where I used to be able to just… be.

Be weird.

Be a fangirl.

Be as fucked up as I am with people supporting me.

And right now, I feel like I need to go back to that girl.

The one who hurt so much and spent her life surviving instead of living, but still found joy in the smallest things, in music, in writing for her fandoms…

I want to be that girl again.

So I‘m back.

Probably irregularly, but back once more.
