Part of a recent shoot for Lyon & Turnbull's upcoming Decorative Arts auction: A silver fork and spoon designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and being auctioned to help restore tea rooms which he also created. Originally part of a 12-place setting of dining cutlery dating from 1902, commissioned by Glasgow Girls artist Jessie Newbery and her husband Fra in 1902 as a gift from her parents. They can be viewed online and are valued at £15,000-£20,000.

A new arrival! I'm taking as paternity leave as a freelancer can (I've been very lucky with how things have worked out so only have a couple of small he jobs over the next two weeks) and will be focusing on taking loads of photos of this beautiful little one!

I am just back from St. Moritz having spent a week with Alishah and Sajjad as they recieve their race training. On the last night they attended a local night race, taking part and seeing the standard of the other competitors.
