Like the story

Working on the scenes for the Gum Tree. We used finely crafted paper cut outs by Daniel and a semi transparent screen backlit by two lamps. Most scenes took at least two to three takes to get right. Working with rigid figures the movement is crucial and you need to be patient. We spent some time out of class finishing of the frames and hopefully can tie it all together on Wednesday.

individual conclusion

In the project two, we need to make a story telling with idea of chewing gum of one group.

I worked with Michael, Alinta and Mikaela, our idea is about the action people sat on the basket, and other two people try to catching up and get on the balloons. Etc….

After we decided the idea, we start to getting materials for taking photo.

In the second week, we all brought some materials for taking photos. background choice, chewing gum, some action people, balloons, paper baskets , some masking tape, one digital camera for taking photos.

I designed the background and considered of the concept of the story. A cloudy day, there is some house buildings on green lawn. There are some clouds on the sky, and balloons coming down and up.

In this project, I found challenge that taking photos and still get confuse with the process of premier tool which I may need to improve more in the future, in this group, Alinta makes the video, and sometimes we all help to take photos, Mikaela makes the slides for including in the video.

In this project I learnt the basic processes about how to use adobe premiere tool to create a video which is may be used in the future and learnt organisation and working with group.

Through the use of story-telling, we translated emotions to the viewer, such as the feeling of freedom, and friendship. The music also helps tell the story. I really like the idea of action people shotting the balloon and trying to get on the basket. The sharing of chewing gum.

this is my appropriated work of art. the name of the art work called the kitchen war.

After i decided about my concept, i was start looking couple of websites ( the online gernerators).

and then i selected the gif maker for created the gif.

for the art work choice that i chose the art work called Kitchen mouse, the painter is sarah Locascio and the medium used in watercolor.

the reason for add it be background because my concept is kind of cartoon show, the little blue rat came to the house and tried to grab food,

after i decided my idea, i was start to look couple of art work, i prefer the medium used in water color , also i like the style the art work, the outlines on the obejects painting. I think the story of this art work also fitting my concept.

The reason for my idea：

Thought of my choice is by the cat in my house, he often catch mouses and stay outside.

Talked about the animation:

Firstly I want to let the little blue rat move from left to the right side., walking, and the milk in the bottle can be pour out little bit. Make the food in flashing. Somebody in the house killed the rat.

Changed about the animation-

Later I changed about my animation .

Story explanation-

One day, the mouse chef is cooking in the kitchen, meantime, the blue rat came in, the rat is hungry, he didn’t has any food in the three days, when he smelled about food, he came to the kitchen, he jumped to the table where get food. He tried to grab food, while he pour out the milk and milk is dropping on the flour , the bottle break, and another mouse chef heard about the sound in the next door, when he came he was think where is the sound come from。when he found the rat, the war is happening.

In the end the blue rat was killed.

comment about the work-

In this project i learnt about create an online gif. its interesting to make with online gif.

For this art work i posted about three times. the trouble was my work too big and too many photos, so i changed about three time when i was doing the art work.

For this art work, i like the animation that i arranged in this art work. I didnt think about the background choice. so on the wood table , it was a bit messy. and i should extend the art work to make it including in the camera.

Idea choice-

In this conception in the green forest, a rabbit and the big egg, i make myself as the biggest easter egg in the forest. there are some little eggs looks like dropping from sky.

On this occation, i intend to use some vocabulary like "peaceful," "happiness", "have a wonderful day," Put a scenery in the background. the length of animation plan for 40 seconds.

The cause about selecting the idea-

I like easter celebration. I think it is an inportant celebration in western culture. And its an oppoturnity that i can eat lots of chocolate too.

I like easter celebration, in the story i inserted my self portrait and running on the lawns ground.

I make the self portrait with photoshop. i used about 10 layers. I used the lasso tool to select the obejects in one image, then cut and paste.

Just a simple use in photoshop.

Then i insert animation. Used move tool, to move the obejects, then use tweens animation frame, press play button.

In this project, i learnt about how to work with Photoshop. Which is interesting to drawing and creating things in computer.

I like the concept of my idea, but some of the obejects i didnt do enough. For example the portrait of me, i should create some elements on the face to let it looks like a colored egg. the animation i should working a bit more, to make the extend time between the portrait and the rabbit.

This was still my draft. i got my final piece in my usb, i tried to post on tumblr, but its too big for post, i tried three times.
