True homies don’t tell you “good job” when you did a shitty job. They aren’t afraid to punch you in the face for being a bitch. They will embarrass the hell out of you every chance they get. True homies don’t tell you the shit you wanna hear when you don’t deserve to hear it. They don’t lie, instead they are brutally honest. Yes, they are in fact a hybrid breed of assholes and sarcastic comedians. But ask yourself, how can you not respect a people who push you outside your comfort zone to face reality, to come to terms with despair? True homies don’t allow you to ignore the real circumstances. But better yet, they know—and believe—the capability you possess to get your shit straight. You ain’t gonna find better people, I can tell you that much.
