Happy news: I move on Saturday!!! So excited (although right now I'm so frustrated with the very job that I've been working at for a couple months which is what prompted the move to begin with). Yesterday, I went to Disneyland. Apparently, at their Innovations building, there is a HUGE Avengers exhibit, complete with appearances by Captain America and Thor. Naturally, I ran screaming into said building, camera at the ready. After falling on the ground in front of the array of Iron Man suits and bursting into tears at the Steve Rogers exhibit (exactly like the Smithsonian one in TWS) I got in line to meet the Star-Spangled Man. (The workers were all awesome, they loved that I was such a nerd and so unbelievably excited to meet the Captain.)

My purse has a large Doctor Who pin on it, (not pictured) and the camera man for Steve pointed at it, looked at Cap, and was like “Look at this, it says something about she’s a Doctor?” and Cap points at it and goes "Oh, that looks like a blue police box!" so I said, (I was speechless guys I literally am such a dweeb) "It is." and he said "When I was in England doing an Op in 1942, I was stuck in a burning building and a man named John Smith pulled me out of the building, and then ran into a blue police box just like that and disappeared. Do you know if this has anything to do with that?" 

I DON’T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT I SAID IN RESPONSE. YOU GUYS. THE CAPTAIN AMERICA AT DISNEYLAND WATCHES DOCTOR WHO. HARDCORE REFERENCED DOCTOR WHO. KNEW ABOUT THE WHOLE JOHN SMITH ALIAS THING. CAPTAIN AMERICA WATCHES DOCTOR WHO. I AM IN TEARS REMEMBERING ALL OF THIS.

Slow on the Update

Sooooo glad I check the Homestuck website every now and then to see if there is any update on the Gigapause which started almost a year ago. Near the end of September, Hussie posted stating the comic will start to update again (likely very slowly) in either mid or late October. I feel like I'm the last one to know but oh my, how wonderful does this feel. But he's right. Since the gigapause commenced, the amount of homestuck related items I've seen on the net has gone tremendously down and him making that post will likely get people very excited again. But really, this is an exciting time! The gigapause is almost over!!! :)

Had one of those weird dreams this morning during my nap after my jog that really freaked me out... because it involved me doing something that I would NEVER do and that I've never thought about, let alone had happen in a dream... It was super awkward and I'm not sure if I'll be able to talk to the people in my dream (who are real) without remembering and suddenly having it be awkward... oh gawd...

Getting a jumpstart on my awesomeness by trying to figure out what I'd like to do for cosplays next year. If I can figure it out soon, I should have no problem getting them ready in time for whatever convention I may decide to go to! <3 any ideas?

And then I remember the other week when we were talking about something... and you thought I bought something which I didn't, but you seemed so sure that I had... Now I'm kind of wondering if that other girl is still messaging you and I don't actually have your full attention like I thought I did...like maybe I don't mean as much to you as you try to tell me I do which would kill me because I am so in love with you... but maybe that's why it seems sometimes like I'm always chasing you down when you are apparently perfectly comfortable going hours without texting me... I miss back when I was your world... don't want to think that I'm losing you :(

Is it bad that I can actually imagine him sitting on a goat type thing in real life? But at the same time, I really can't 'cause I don't think he'd see any purpose/merit/gain from it soooooooooooo.. but he looks good sitting there? lol

Help Me Out!

I doubt that this sort of thing would work but I’m trying anyway.

I brought my pikachu when I went to the emergency room for a psych eval because I was extremely suicidal due to my severe PTSD and OCD. The whole night was a mess and I ended up taking anti-anxiety meds that made me fall asleep. I was too asleep to even answer their questions when they checked me into inpatient. My partner was not allowed to come with me as I moved from the emergency room to the inpatient floor because it was not visiting hours. Along the way I somehow lost my pikachu. The only thing I can remember is a woman drawing my blood and fighting to keep some form of consciousness so that I didn’t flop over and rip out the needle. I asked later if my pikachu was in the back with any of my possessions or in the lost and found and hospital staff couldn’t find it.

I have had this pikachu for 15 years. I loved it like mad. It was missing a tail, had the white of its eyes scratched out. The ears were chewed and the red fuzz was licked off his cheeks (yeah, I was a weird kid). This stuffed animal had brought me so much comfort in my life. He was a gift from my grandma (the only one who would listen to me talk for hours about pokemon) when I was in kindergarten.

I know that I won’t ever probably find him again, but I’m sure that someone has one like him shoved in their closet somewhere. If you have one you don’t want, in ANY condition, contact me and I will pay you for it. I’ll pay shipping too. 

Although a new pikachu will not truly replace the original, my arms often feel lonely when they are not wrapped around this little guy’s weird bulbous body in times of trouble.

Watching Thor: The Dark World with my sister. She actually hasn't seen this yet so I've been pushing her to watch it since she's such a fan of Thor and we currently have it on DVD from Netflix. It's a fairly good movie I'd say :)

Had Oral Surgery today... :/

My face is all swollen and i can't eat a lot cause I had my last 3 wisdom teeth removed. Oral surgery is kind of a bitch but hey, at least I was sedated this time (Yay for IV sedation!). So as of tomorrow I can eat warm, cold, or hot foods, but they have to be soft (thank gosh that pasta is soft or else I'd probably die...). Which means that today was my day of essentially cold liquidy foods (jello, blended yogurts, fro yo)... In other words, this was a totally sucky day because I am hungry but can't really eat much of anything :(

what am I gonna do without pasta's in my life?? That would probably be a fate worse than death for me if I could never eat pasta again... So I'm sooooooooo glad my mom said I could definitely have multitude variations of pasta tomorrow...of course, that'll be after she makes her french toast bake thing...hmmm...
