Nah mate, I was delving into Larry proofs/minor coincidences that I already know the general idea of and Urban dictionary said that a triangle tattoo is something widely recognised as a sign of lgbtq+ which I already knew. However, it made a joke saying it could either be that or someone really likes Pink Floyd. Louis’ triangle tattoo on his ankle was obvious to me but then I remembered that Harry has the Dark side of the moon tattoo on his arm and that was a big realisation moment for me.

i’m not sure why but i have this idea of when louis, liam, niall, harry and zayn all moved into their own homes for the first time in 2011 they were used to living with their families and louis in particular with 4 little sisters so when their spotless apartments were all set up, they bought as many stupid little knickknacks and trinkets to fill up shelves and coffee tables and countertops as they could because they were used to the copious amounts of little treasures that parents always seem to have so every time they went somewhere new they would buy either a cheap fridge magnet or a ornamental jewellery box that nothing ever goes in until they’re swimming in tourist memorabilia from every country it’s possible to visit but they never get rid of it.

i was looking up movies from 2010 to put in a fanfic that i’ll probably never get round to writing and i was on google and saw one of the pictures for the movie covers was a pier looking out to sea much like that of the one in the You & I music video. obviously i had to look into the movie called Never Let Me Go because i want to know every useless fact and weak link to anything one direction related and from reading a few summaries and watching the trailer, i think i’ve figured out that clones of people are raised to donate organs to their non-clone counterpart from the age of 18. there’s a boy called tommy and a girl called ruth who get together because if they prove they’re in love they get a few more years before they have to start ending their life however, tommy doesn’t love ruth, just likes her as a friend. now, there’s a certain couple within the one direction fandom that is believed to be like that: the boy appears to love the girl but inside he just sees her as a friend but he’s just trying to protect himself.

also, the audience watches these characters grow up from children and at the age of 18 they’ve finished school and have to start their lives as organ donors and essentially, give themselves to other people and have no control (hehehe) over themselves. now this is a far stretch but i can surely pass it off as english analysis revision but the video diaries from x factor seemed a lot more natural than things any of the boys were producing later in the band and after they’d started reaching and passing the age of 18 which included larry evidence. the video diaries, and x factor in general, held some strong larry proof/evidence but things like that started to get filtered out as they got older.

finally, unless i think of another point whilst writing in the tags, the film (based off a 2005 book) is called never let me go which seems kinda sus when you think harry wrote the song don’t let me go around 2013.

just thought i’d leave you all to think about these large leaps in logic.

for some reason my parents were trying to name as many songs with numbers in their names as possible (i made the two lovely additions of Two Of Us and 18) and somehow my dad ended up finding out that Total Eclipse Of The Heart was originally going to be called Vampires In Love (i don’t know how credible this source was but hey, we go with it). maybe, just maybe, there were two vampires in love when One Direction performed that song on XFactor for halloween.

ok not specific to any fandom but you know the soulmate au where you like wake up on your 18th birthday with the first words your soulmate says to you tattooed on your arm or something; what if you never end up knowing because your soulmate is your best friend you met when you were like babies because your parents were friends? when you’re a baby you aren’t going to remember the random sentence composed entirely of words with three or less letters that happens to be the first thing someone says directly to you or even just a random noise because you’re a baby so you’re there living your life with “boo” on your arm and every halloween is so difficult because you could be walking away from your soulmate who is just a random person trying to scare you when really you’ve been with your soulmate all along.

alrighty, at the time of signing contracts for the band, louis would definitely have been 18 and zayn probably would have because of his birthday in january. liam and niall probably wouldn’t have been 18 yet considering their birthdays are august/september and wmyb came out as a single on 11th september 2011 and contracts would have been sorted out much before then; harry would definitely not have been 18 either. this means that liam, niall and harry would not have been able to be the only person signing the contract binding them to the band since they’re minors and a parent would probably have been signing it too. say each member signed it separately so they can’t discuss it between themselves, louis and zayn would have been more likely to get dragged into more things because they were young and naive whereas liam, niall and harry would have had an adult read through the contract as well and refuse to sign over a certain thing; hence zayn claimed to have never really enjoyed the band and louis gets roped into loads of pr stunts (unless you don’t believe in larry, fake girlfriends etc. it’s all a bit of a giant grey area). zayn and louis got caught in everything because they didn’t notice all the hidden small print in their contracts whereas the other boys has parents to talk everything through with.
