Hello everyone! I know my posts are far and few in between, it's hard to balance my job and grad school at the same time so I'm trying my best here lmao. I also want to produce good content for you guys so I like to take my time! My paragraphs definitely jump from topic to topic as I have ADHD lmao so please excuse that. Without further ado, here's my take on the Mercury signs.
Aries Mercury: These people are very quick-witted and fiery in their communication. They are very lively and have an engaging way of speaking. I believe this also makes someone very hardworking and they tend to take on many different tasks. There however are some downfalls to all this fiery energy, as people with this placement can be very impulsive and don't think before they speak. This can result in them upsetting people, especially during arguments. They can also be very restless as well. These are the people who are always busy and never have any free time. I do think that while they have a lot of energy and can take on many different tasks, I can see this placement struggling to get these tasks done as they tend to be very restless and want to move on to the next thing very quickly, whether a task is done or not. I can also see these people cursing alot lmao random I know. I feel like alot of people with strong fire influence in the chart curse alot.
Taurus Mercury: Aries Mercuries are fast and dynamic, and Taurus Mercury is the exact opposite. They tend to take their time with things and will think deeply before making a decision. They also have a really nice way of speaking and are seen as diplomatic & charming. They're also very patient and are very observant. This placement however can be very stubborn and have a difficulty compromising. Also due to the slower nature of this placement, they might encounter issues with trying to make decisions in fast-paced environments. They also love comfort and hate change, which can definitely create some problems. They also have a pleasant and controlled way of speaking. They're also very practical as well. They also tend to not speak much, they're more of listeners, but when they do, they speak with purpose. They don't talk just to talk.
Gemini Mercury: When I think of Gemini Mercuries I think of pranksters and jokesters. They like to laugh and have a good time. They have a very light and witty way of communicating. This is a very comfortable placement as Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo. Gemini Mercuries are likely to be very intelligent and good communicators. They're good at expressing themselves. They're also very sarcastic as well. I'm surprised more politicians don't have this placement, as I can see these placements being master debaters and are good at expressing ideas, but I digress. I really like Gemini Mercuries, which is strange as a Cancer Mercury, you'd think we wouldn't get along, but I do genuinely love Gemini placements. I can however say that while Gemini Mercuries are good communicators and express themselves well, they can have a lot of ideas at one time, which they tend to share with Aries Mercuries. I could see them being a bit scatterbrained yet somehow they still know how to keep everything together when communicating. On the inside it's like all these ideas battling it out for dominance but on the outside it's controlled and well communicated. They're very good social chameleons as well, they can get along with everyone as they can mold their personalities with ease. This can however be a downfall as this can give them the reputation of being two-faced when in reality they just want to be friends with everyone.
Cancer Mercury: Ahhh my Mercury sign. I'll try not to be biased lmao and focus on my observations of other Cancer Mercuries. So Cancer Mercuries tend to have a nostalgic kind of vibe to them and a very nice way of speaking. I've also been told that this placement gives people a good memory, and as someone with this placement I agree, as I tend to remember things about people very easily. They can however be very passive aggressive and don't like confrontation so they don't always communicate how they feel. They're also naturally very intuitive and are good at figuring out how to communicate with others by reading their body language and sensing the other person's emotions. They're also very observant as well and like to people watch. They have a very accurate "gut feeling" and are very good at sniffing out people's true intentions. When I've told my friends that someone is bad news, I've always been right. However, I think we tend to struggle with applying it to ourselves as we can become emotionally attached to people and tend to want to find the best in people. When it comes to protecting others we have no issue with that, but when it comes to protecting ourselves we're not so good at that.
Leo Mercury: Ahhh our politician placement besides Scorpio Mercury. Leo Mercuries are very charismatic, and of course they are, look at all the politicians with Leo Mercuries. They're animated. They're lively. They're meant to be public speakers. They remind me of Aries Mercuries except they're a bit more controlled. They know when to be dynamic and they know when to hold back. They're personable and like Gemini Mercuries they're excellent communicators. Some drawbacks here are that they tend to like to speak more than listen. They have no problem giving their opinions, but they have a hard time listening to others and taking constructive criticism. They can be very prideful. They can also be a bit overdramatic too LMAO. These are the people who talk with not just their mouths but with their bodies. When I think Leo Mercuries I think of actors and politicians. They're some cool people but they can be a little over the top at times lmao. They're also really funny too, but this of course makes sense as they're charismatic and excellent communicators.
Virgo Mercury: My little nerds. Jk jk. I love Virgo Mercuries as a Cancer Mercury. Like Gemini Mercuries, Virgo Mercuries are excellent communicators. They're also great writers as well. I've noticed the people I know with this placement are very good with writing papers. This is also a very comfortable placement for Mercury as Mercury rules Virgo. They're also very practical as well and tend to be very intelligent like Gemini Mercuries. They're excellent problem solvers and are very observant. Honestly they're like if Taurus Mercury and Gemini Mercury had a baby. They've got the swiftness and excellent communication of Gemini Mercuries & the practicality & organization of a Taurus Mercury. Some downsides here is that they can be a bit overly critical and tend to focus on the little things rather than seeing the big picture. They also tend to overanalyze things and overthink. I feel like Virgo Mercuries also tend to deal with pretty bad anxiety.
Libra Mercury: I loveee Libra Mercuries. I have a 7th house stellium so I tend to really get on with Libra placements. They're very flirtatious and charming. And even if they're not flirtatious, they just have a nice way about them that tends to attract people. These people however cannot make a decision to save their lives. Even asking them something as simple as what they want to eat for dinner they cannot decide. Like Cancer Mercuries, they're also very nonconfrontational and will also be passive aggressive when angry at someone. They're also not good at picking sides, they tend to try and understand both sides of an argument. While this can be a positive in many ways, this can make them frustrating to be friends with (I still love them tho). They also have a nice way of speaking as well, as they are very eloquent. They're also great at compromising and know how to make people feel comfortable.
Scorpio Mercury: Oh you deep and mysterious mfs. As a Cancer Mercury, Scorpio Mercuries are like catnip to me. They're so controlled and intelligent. They're very observant as well. This placement is also very intense and charismatic. Charles Manson had this placement, and this is also the most popular Mercury placement of US presidents. When I think of Scorpio Mercuries, I literally think of a cult leader LMAOOOO. I mean that in the best way possible. They're very emotionally intelligent as well, they're very intuitive and like Cancer Mercuries, they can read people very well. The downside of this placement is that with their intensity comes an intensity of emotions and when they release their emotions it's powerful. This usually comes after holding things in for a while and it all finally comes out (similar to Cancer Mercury). Scorpio Mercuries can also be very vengeful and can be ruthless when it comes to those who have wronged them. Scorpio Mercury also makes me think of reputation by Taylor Swift.
Sagittarius Mercury: When I think of Sagittarius Mercuries I think of people who are very philosophical and are natural teachers. They're also very optimistic and restless, similarly to Aries Mercuries. They're also very honest. They're also very funny as well and have a great sense of humor. They also just come across as very smart as well, and probably are very smart. They also might really be into learning about other cultures as Sagittarius placements often are. As a Sagittarius rising, I love Sag mercuries, I feel like the conversations with them are endless. You can talk to them about anything. I know this is technically a detriment placement, but I just think they're such unique thinkers and I'm here for it. They might be a bit undisciplined and hard to follow at times, but I think that adds to the charm lmao.
Capricorn Mercury: They're just sooooo authoritative and mature lmao. When they speak, people listen. They have an air of authority that makes you trust them, even if they're speaking total nonsense. I've noticed they also tend to have deeper voicers? But I don't know, that's just my findings. They're also very pragmatic and plan things out. Taylor Swift is a Capricorn mercury I think and she's very methodical in how she does things. Just very smart people, even if not book smart, they're just very good at being practical (of course there can be other things that can be taken into account here if people don't identify with this). I'd say this is also another very honest mercury sign, they're honest, but they're better with their delivery than a Sagittarius mercury. Very good communicators. Soothing voices too imo.
Aquarius Mercury: I love Aquarius mercuries, they're similar to Sagittarius mercuries in my opinion. They're just very unique in how they communicate and can be a bit scatterbrained at times, but I think it's because they have alot of different ideas that they can't keep themselves focused on only one thing. Another very intelligent placement in my opinion. I'd say a downside here would be the scatterbrained thing and also there is some detachment here, which can be difficult if you're communicating about things that require emotion. They're also very observant and might be perceived as a bit "out there" by others, as they are unconventional. I love it though, I may be a bit biased as Uranus falls in my third house lmao but I'm here for their uniqueness.
Pisces Mercury: Ahhhh, love Pisces mercuries as well. My cancer mercury feels very at home with them. They're very sensitive and day-dreamy. Very emotionally intuitive. Another detriment placement sadly, as their thoughts can be abstract and hard to communicate to others, but I think this is a very poetic placement. Kurt Cobain had this I believe. They're very emotionally intelligent and can pick up vibes. Very creative individuals and compassionate. I notice that they're sometimes not good at expressing their feelings in the standard way, they tend to express feelings through art. I've noticed they're also very easy to talk to, despite their thoughts being abstract and they themselves can struggle to communicate feelings to others. I just think they have a very understanding and open vibe to them which makes them easy to talk to.
Anyway it's good to be back, we'll see how long I can be on top of this lmao.
