“Sometimes you gotta work on the outermost part before the core of it, it’s all good. I’m glad I was able to help!” Jubilee grinned excitedly. “I used to write waaay back when. High school, early years of college, but racing and mechanics took over so I put a hold on music.”

“Let me guess! You have a Spotify playlist with some really old school music and you just jam to that, don’t you?”

Archimedes stared at the girl for a moment, not sure what to say. “Well, I don’t see how it could be proved, since it would require someone to physically descend into Hell, catalogue it and come back… But yes, if it was proved, I suppose it could be an option to consider it something more than fiction. Still, even if this happened, we know for a fact that Dante was still alive when he wrote it, so it’d still be a fiction, since it was not something he had actually experienced yet, don’t you think?”
Jubilee nodded slowly at Archimedes’ ruling of the matter. “Yeah, I would think so...” She paused for a moment and then responded, “What if, he had a near-death experience. Where he did descend and ascended and before he could fully ascend, he woke up, so he’s seen it and then managed to write it all down, thinking it was a vivid, lucid dream, thus making it a work of fiction?”

“I appreciate it--but thank you! There are only so few people that can try their hand at hip-hop and it sounding good. I’n right with you,” She grinned with a nod. Jubilee took a seat next to Louis and looked over at the papers and nodded. “This slow section, you could make into a bridge...maybe a breakdown of the song?”

“It is a banger, that is true. But Thank U, Next? I’m feelin’ it even though I don’t have any exes to be grateful for. She’s just that good.” Penny paused. “Actually…I can’t remember what I was saying. I think I was about to ask how long until my daddy’s car is ready?”
“That song’s going down in history, hands down. I’m mad this other song broke my streak. I mean I’ve had it on repeat since it came out. Ariana Grande’s a fucking goddess though, so it’s fine,” Jubilee agreed with the other girl with a big grin. “Oh, another 15 minutes. We had to take apart the wiring because some material was trapped in there. How long has it been since your pops had a tune up?”

Talia didn’t get the joke for a second but once she was sure Jubileena was kidding she laughed. Or at least made herself a little bit. It was hard…She had no idea how she got so far with Minnie. “Yeah actually. That’s the place. The milkshakes are totally gram-friendly. Nd y’know…Gotta keep the food gram-friendly.”
Jubilee chuckled along with Talia and nodded, “Sweet, cause their peanut butter chocolate milkshakes, I’ve been craving, ugh.” She shook her head at the thought. “Oh those milkshakes are crazy insta-friendly. Have you seen how high they pile those things?! I always gotta take it to go and eat it the next day because to eat that in one go, there’s just no way unless you didn’t.”

Hannah nodded softly. “Oh.. alright.. I mean I might have heard something of his and probably just didn’t even realize that’s who it was.” She stated with a small shrug of her shoulders. “Chemistry! Mixing, and creating and exploding. Though I try to avoid that part, but it happens.”
“Hmmm...” Jubilee thought for a moment. “Have you heard that song that goes...’I don’t got no type?’’ That’s the group that Swae Lee’s in. Rae Sremmurd--that’s still a weird ass group name, but whatever,” She chuckled. “Ooh, chemistry?! I dig that. Wait, I think Nav was talking about you the other day, all good things, I promise! You guys were like trying to make a bubblegum medicine or something, right?”

“Oh, I’m rereading for a class. I love it, though. Although I must admit I find Anna Karenina extremely annoying, I feel like she’s always complaining.”
“Wow, that’s pretty rad, lucky you--I think?” She chuckled. “Okay, thank you! Cause, ugh. Okay, Anna does all this shady shit but then complains about how her life is miserable at the end of the day? Like...girl, why? Why waste your time then?”

“You’re killing me here, teach!” Jubilee shook her head in disbelief. “It’s literally on the radio, all the time. Literally, whenever you hear that song, you will either hear a ‘yaaaas’ or a ‘oh dear god not again’. Most of the time it’s a ‘yaaaas’.”

“No offense, but nothing you’re saying right now is more important than Roger Taylor’s drum solo. Can it wait?” Tam pointed towards their turntable with a proud smile. “That’s an authentic Queen vinyl from the eighties. We have to listen to every second of musical perfection.”
“Listen, I promise we will play the song back just as soon as I can get this lift inside because otherwise it’s gonna get towed and, ya girl does not have money to be blowing on getting a lift out the pound,” Jubilee pointed out as she was nodding her head along to the song. “Just two minutes, Tam, pleeeeease!”

“Oh, thank you.” Tootles laughed softly. “New Zealand, although admittedly my accent isn’t as strong as it used to be.” He shrugged his shoulders just a bit. Finding the girls’ laugh contagious, Tootles couldn’t help but to laugh along at her joke. “Well I’m happy to hear that you’re ready for it, ‘cause that either means you’re a really understanding person, or you really believe in this song. And both are good in this situation.”
“New Zealand, huh. That’s so damn cool! Hey, strong accent or not, you definitely sounded down under alright. That’s pretty sick,” Jubilee nodded with a big grin. “Well, let’s just say for both our sakes I’m pretty understanding and I really believe in this song. I mean, talk about a sweater weather kind of anthem.”

“I know!! It’s like- everytime I hear the song, I want to sing along and dance to it as if it’s the first time I heard it. It’s my absolute favorite dance song as of now. I loved her since she released Anything Could Happen. Her songs give me life.” Gadget took mental note of the song’s title so she can listen to it later. “Can you isng it for me?”
“Yes! Oh my god, finally someone who feels what I’m feeling. You know many strange stares I get the moment that song comes on in public and I start dancing to it? Woo man, it’s wild,” Jubilee mentioned with a giggle. “Yes! That song’s a classic! I loved Lights, her first single, that’s how I got hooked!” She grinned and then nodded, “Alright, just a warning, I only know the chorus, but it goes like this: And I don’t wanna be somebody without your body, close to me. And if it wasn’t you, I wouldn’t want anybody, close to me. Cause I’m an animal, animal-al. Like animal, like you. And I don’t wanna be somebody without your body, close to me.”

“Let’s see, how do I describe this…” He pretended to tap his chin in thought. “My mother is the type of woman that wants me to get married as soon as possible and thinks that every girl I’m in a photo with will be my future wife.” Ali laughed. “Though I suppose it didn’t help when I said I had to go and get to know this beautiful girl that just came up to me.”
“Damn, that serious, huh?” Jubilee’s eyes widened for a moment, shaking her head in disbelief. “I mean, let’s be real, all of our parents are gonna get on our asses about settling down while we’re in the middle of having all the fun. Generational differences and shit,” She shrugged with a smirk. “You better be careful who you’re sweet talkin’ to with that pretty face of yours, wouldn’t want you to get in trouble.”

I’ll definitely have to hear this Ellie song though!” Louis smiled. “Oh, I was just wonderin’ if I could have my light back?” He shyly pointed to the girl’s shadow over his sheet music. “The lights in here aren’t that great to begin with.”
“Oh, trust me, the moment you hear that line, your heart sinks, but the rest of the song picks it back up, I promise you, you gotta take a listen. Then Ellie and her new song, she goes hard with it. I’ve never heard her on a hip-hop like track!” Jubilee smiled excitedly until she chuckled. “Oh, right, sorry about that. You mind if I sit next to ya?”
