Step 1 - get the best interest rate you can on that 10 million
Step 2 - live your fucking normal ass life for 6 months
Unironically though, the sheer amount of people that would fail the first scenario is hilarious.
For all the activists screaming about being "kidnapped" by the Israelis, they sure aren't giving a single fuck about the ones that genuinely have been and are in actual danger.
Hello?, everyone that didn't shut up about the people the Israelis stopped, where the fuck are you? These ones are in genuine danger and you're completely silent.
Can't use it to scream about Israel so fuck these people I suppose.
just learned that magnolias are so old that they’re pollinated by beetles because they existed before bees
They existed *before beetles*
Why is this sad? Why am I sad?

This is how I feel about Joshua Trees. They and avocado trees produce fruit meant to be eaten and dispersed by giant ground sloths. Without them, the Joshua Trees' range has shrunk by 90%.
(my own photos)
Not only they, but the entire Mojave ecosystem is still struggling to adapt since the loss of ground sloth dung. their chief fertilizer.
Many, many trees and plants in the Americas have widely-spaced, extremely long thorns that do nothing to discourage deer eating their leaves, but would've penetrated the fur of ground sloths and mammoths. Likewise, if you've observed a tree that drops baseball or softball-sized fruit which lies on the ground and rots, like Osage Oranges, which were great for playing catch at my school, chances are they were ground sloth or mammoth chow.
You can read about various orphaned plants and trees missing their megafauna in this poignant post:
Trees that once depended on animals like the wooly mammoth for survival have managed to adapt and survive in the modern world.

First quote from the linked article. Found it poetic.
Every May the 31st:
It's time for America to get tough to protect our homeland. Deport this Islamist immediately. He was not properly vetted. He is a Clear and Present Danger to the USA. 🇺🇸
Fuck the fake god allah, and fuck this guy.

Bastille was right. How am I gonna be an optimist about this. Also right about eh eho eho.
Please never forget that ēheu, what the background chorus is repeating in Pompeii, just means ‘alas’ or ‘oh no’ or perhaps ‘shucks’ in Latin, which is of course the correct response to realizing you’re on an island where a volcano is exploding.
That post about death note being "everyone's first anime" (untrue statement) made me curious and now I want to gather data for science
Can you reblog this and tell me where are you from and what was your starter anime?
USA, Noir
Kill La Kill
Usa, and in terms of completing an anime start to finish fuck me its death note
Bebop.
Brazil, Classic Dragon Ball.
One of the big problems of The Mandalorian is them giving him literal unbreakable armor that makes him functionally indestructible. He can't even take battle damage the way that Robocop and Terminator can, which makes it all feel a bit pointless.
Most heroes are on their last legs by the time the climax rolls around, but Mando just looks the same as he always does. Subconsciously, you're going "well, what really happened? He hasn't taken one bit of damage or changed visually at all, so did he really go on any sort of journey?"
Here's James Bond at the end of a Bond movie. Doesn't he look like he's pushed himself to the absolute limit to accomplish his mission?
What an epic adventure Max and Furiosa went on! They barely survived!
Aaand here's the Mandalorian. He looks exactly the same as he always does. The story literally hasn't left a mark on him.
They could make it like Cap's shield, and give it a paintjob that gets dinged up throughout the film.
Why don't they just get some other material made from the same stuff to leave a mark? Like how black panther was the only one to scratch Cap's shield.
Well, beskar is supposed to be rare, and it can only pop up so much before it becomes like Silver Age Kryptonite.
Season 1 finale Mando gets fucked up. When he went to Tatooine to hunt the Sniper Assassin lady he straight up said that her blaster would.go right through the Beskar if they got any closer.
And in the finale the explosion and the machine gun nearly killed him, because Beskar was strong not invulnerable.
Its not just that they gave him invulnerable armor, they gave him invulnerable armor immediatly after they told us that ut wasn't invulnerable.
??????
i can't get enough of this guy
Remember they had Hitler on their cover as 'Man of the Year' in 1938.
And not just because he was the most “influential” person of the year, either, in spite of popular myth; if you actually read the article, they fawn over him being basically the most successful autocrat and dictator of the year. One of the runners-up was Fracisco Franco, for fuck’s sake.
Here’s a good video about it:
