They should've kept Elphaba's hair down for the entire movie imho esp in AS LONG AS YOU'RE Mine, and NO GOOD DEED scenes! There's just sumn WICKED hitting on me seeing her long curls free in the wind like she's se—ier and cun—ier and it is the Elphie I've always wanted to see in Part II / FOR GOOD—seeing them just as leaks back then for the first time made me excited for PART II during those times!

As for Glinda, it's such a missed opportunity to showcase her maturity by styling her hair differently. I finally figured out what had always bothered me with movie Glinda and it's not seeing her hair in shoulder-length curls!

Found this photo which was clearly an edit while googling for her pics and they could've just done that FOR GOOD tbh!

Elphie, Nessa, and even Shen Shen got to change their hairstyles while hers remain the same. I mean ig it's an underlying message about how she's a character who's kinda allergic to change.

Lemme cry over this spilt milk for some minutes first because it's how I cope 😭😂 but if it were up to me, she gets to have her hair styled in shoulder-length curls like in the Broadway book in her periwinkle dress to denote compliance to the system as that hairstyle is similar to Mme. Morrible's.

(Should I also point out that G's dress with purplish flare when MM who was known for her 💜 aesthetic is somewhat a projection of a rite of passage that Glinda had subconsciously received from her like she's just her projection when MM in PT 2, however, was donning the emerald color for the most part of the film if I were correct)

And when Glinda finally wear her pink dress in NOMTW, that's when she also loses the curls to show that she's divorcing from Oz's atrocious ways and reverts back to her "toss, toss" hair to honor herself and how she's always seen as by her dear friend

I mean do you get the layers of what I'm talking about here?!?!

I want Disney to Maleficent-ify their Tangled Live-Action Adaptation, and title it back to RAPUNZEL—which also meant that we do not get to hear Eugene speak about himself like the focus is mainly and solely on Blondie.

I'm still down with Milo Manheim narrating the lost princess's story (and just like with the thread I participated with here months ago—if Disney were brave, to k— off his character which I doubt lol)

Basically, I want this concept art's aesthetic. It's what got me excited for the animated film to begin with until the trailer from 2010

They better make Mother Gothel a witch with magical powers for real! Hiding her abode of a tower in some sort of a misty barrier like how cool is that instead of hiding it behind rocky constraints! I want the tower to at least have that sense of false freedom up in the cloudy air, where one of the lanterns got lost and made it thru Rapunzel's window, and the girl had been wishing to see where it came from ever since!

So...

☑️ Mother Gothel as a witch

☑️ The high tower being hidden in a mist

☑️ The classic Disney storybook opening

☑️ Referencing Rapunzel's dresses from the concept artworks

☑️The whimsy aesthetic we lost from the 3D adaptation

Everything I wished that I wanted to see in the animated film that weren't there—I'm hoping that at least I get to see it in this film adaptation of it or else it is going to be another unnecessary live-action remake.

I love how Musicals that are loosely based or related to Greek Mythology, practices blind casting tbh like people of any ethnicity or color and even gender could play the parts of these iconic/timeless characters!

I mean there are only two that I could think of right now:

The Lightning Thief, and Hadestown

but if I coincidentally had two little nickels on a drum or rather a couple of drachmas which isn't that much like what they always say . . .

Tbh I was actually surprised to still see him on CHB.

We, the readers know where Percy, Annabeth and Tyson saw him in SoM. He was with Luke, and already aboard the Princess Andromeda, being one of Luke's strategists.

I guess this decision from the show was to showcase his budding romance with Clarisse.Is this a change of his character being part of the good side?

Or are they retconning how he's gonna change sides once Clarisse's company which he was chosen to accompany for her quest would ever likely encounter his brother again?

Or rather, is he just playing spy for Kronos's army at CHB all along, to begin with?

It was supposed to be "ascentors" like how we are a descendants of; descents, or descended = ascent ascended… ye get the idea? But then, a dyslexic bloke misspelled it to the word we use today and since it sounds much better than the half-upper-torso-of-a-man-and-half-bottom-hind-hooves-of-a-donkey-sounding word, (a*s + centaurs, get it? Lmao) we just stuck with "ancestors"
