There were few things in life Ollie enjoyed more than a free Saturday. Sleeping in and starting the day with no plans or expectations, just letting it happened as it wanted to was something of a rarity for him. Between working at the Drive In his parents owned, high school, or another activity, he was used to waking up before the crack of dawn and not having a lot of free time on his hands. But now that he was on his gap year before University, there had definitely a change of pace. He had more time to himself and since he had the day off from work, he was taking every opportunity to soak up a relaxing day in the summer sun before it rolled into fall.
Settling into a small cafe, he grabbed himself a table and sat down with a pastry and cup of coffee before beginning to read whatever book he had thrown into his bag before leaving. Glancing up at the sound of the door opening, he couldn’t help but notice a tag standing out against the front of the new patron’s top. He didn’t think much of it but upon looking again, he could clearly see that something was amiss. He stood up, walking over to them and clearing his throat before beginning to speak. “Hi, I’m sorry to bother you… but I think your shirt is inside out?”
Judy had been in a rush to get changed after her nightshift. She just wanted to get some coffee and relax for the morning before heading home to visit her parents that afternoon. After getting changed in a rush and heading to the cafe, her sight was narrow, only focusing on the warm coffee she’d been dreaming of the last couple hours. She was a bit out of it, so when someone spoke to her, she was a little startled before turning to face them. “Oh, it’s no bother, I--” Judy stopped at his words, her eyes widening as she looked down at her shirt. “Shoot.” Thankful she was wearing a tank top underneath, she quickly took the shirt off and flipped it inside out, not really caring if anyone thought it was odd. “Thank you so much! I’m sure anyone else would just ignore it and let me go on looking like a fool.”
