okay so looking up all the posts i’ve made about harvey on my blog i’ve realized i never elaborated on my thinking for jughead/harvey and that’s a travesty but basically i was originally thinkin about og 90s sabrina harvey which works out since that “nice boy who’s kinda confused but has got the spirit” energy is really what caos harvey serves as well and that’s pretty much also the energy that riverdale archie gives off except like. archie makes some dumbass himbo decisions meanwhile harvey is pure and loyal almost to a fault (they both are but like. harvey is a boy who’s nervous about “taking it to the next level” with his literal girlfriend meanwhile archie’s like SEE YA JUG I’M OMW TO FUCK MY TEACHER ALL SUMMER) and is just v supportive and understanding and unproblematic which is 100% what jughead needs in his life. and also we stan ace jughead in this house so that “nervous high schooler who’s really not sure about the whole sex thing” vibe harvey’s got going on is appreciated since i feel like he doesn’t seem to mind either way. also he has proved to be a much better partner in crime than betty could ever be (and you all know we do not stan betty or bug/head in any way ever) so would be helpful to jug in that way as well as comforting him and being there. also i feel like emo jughead and artist harvey vibes just mesh real well and it’s all around good both aesthetically and compatability wise so 10/10 ship everyone please hop onboard with me.
