I'm only one episode in (plus 10 minutes of episode two), but I realized I need something to help ease my stress while watching Zomvivor. So I have started a collection of "Pretty boys serving during the zombie apocalypse".

(on love as devotion x phumpeem)
to me, this show will always be about friendship above everything else <3
me: I love tragedy. I’m a tragedy enthusiast if you will
me when tragedy is happening on my screen: I hate this. this could have been avoided. I’m going to be sick. why couldn’t we control this. I’m in hell.
The way Fadel just practically crawls into Style's arms for comfort is everything to me.
Only critique I have for the heart killers is that there wasn‘t enough waist grabbing like I needed Fadel to be OBSESSED with Style‘s waist
MY ROMANCE SCAMMER // EP 7
Pai is such an underrated green flag in Thai BL, and I think it’s because his love isn’t loud or dramatic in a way that people immediately latch onto. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t demand attention. But if you actually look at what he does it’s kind of devastating how good he is.
He was willing to leave behind everything he was born into for Tim. Not as a fantasy, not as a “what if,” but as a real decision. His family, his life, his stability...all of it. And he didn’t treat it like a sacrifice he needed credit for. He just chose Tim and kept moving.
And then he finds out the truth. The scams, the lies, the fact that the person he trusted wasn’t completely real.
That’s where most characters change. That’s where they get angry, or cold, or start protecting themselves first. And they’d be right to. No one would question it. But Pai doesn’t turn into someone else just because he got hurt.
Even after everything, he still chooses to protect Tim and Yu. He walks away from everything again, but this time it’s heavier, because now he knows exactly what he’s losing. He walks away knowing exactly what it costs him this time. And still, his focus isn’t on revenge or exposing them. It’s on making sure they’re safe and okay. He takes responsibility for everything while keeping these two out of it!!
Do you understand how insane that is? To be the one who got lied to, the one who had every right to walk away angry and still be the one thinking about what would happen to them if he didn’t stay careful? He could’ve exposed everything. He could’ve let it all burn. No one would’ve blamed him. He would’ve been justified (because let's be honest, his entire family got scammed as well...they aren't just ready for that conversation).
But Pai doesn’t love like that. Because even with everything going on, he’s still worried about Tim’s health. It's true that you don’t stop loving someone just like that, but Pai is a good person through and through and I can't emphasize on this enough. He doesn’t turn cruel just because he has a reason to. He doesn’t make his pain someone else’s punishment.
That’s not weakness. That’s not him being blind. That’s someone who understands the truth and still refuses to let it turn him cruel. And that’s what gets me. That's what I love about him so much.
He doesn’t turn cruel just because the situation gives him permission to. He doesn’t suddenly become someone else just because someone else failed him. He just...breaks. And even in that, he’s still trying to make sure the people who hurt him don’t fall harder than they already are.
Because his love didn’t stop being real just because it was built on something incomplete. It didn’t suddenly become meaningless. It stayed exactly what it was from the beginning: honest, steady, terrifyingly selfless.
And that’s why he’s such a strong green flag.
Most people talk about green flags when it’s easy when the relationship is healthy, when everything is mutual. But Pai shows what a green flag looks like when things go wrong. When he has every reason to walk away angry and still doesn’t lose the part of himself that knows how to love gently.
He doesn’t love like it’s a transaction. He doesn’t switch sides the moment things stop being easy. He doesn’t make his pain someone else’s punishment. He feels everything, understands everything, and still chooses to act with care. That’s rare.
He’s not perfect. He gets hurt. He loses. But he never becomes someone who hurts back just because he can. And maybe that’s why people overlook him. Because his love isn’t chaotic. It doesn’t leave destruction behind. It just leaves you sitting there, realizing how different things could’ve been if more people loved like that.

mourning a person when they are right there in your arms.
It’s all fun and games until Pai asks for his Tim one more time. Hearing that gentle voice, soft eyes gazing at him, leaning towards to his body.
Maybe for the first time since the wedding, he feels comforted, maybe even relieved to see a familiar face, a warm presence. That reminds him he is not alone. Because every night when he came back his home, no matter what happened, Tim was there with open arms.
But who could even be a safe place again for Pai after the biggest betrayal of his life? Who else but his Teerak? Even when his heart was broken because of him, he could only find the comfort in his touch.
The longing in his voice, missing his Tim so much, hold him for a little bit more, with tears in his eyes…
Oh, Pai… you make my heart ache so much.
My God. Breaking my arm is so worth it.
