Earlier, someone asked me about how to become more confident. Though I have an answer in mind, it took me awhile to respond because I had to remember how I managed to become one. My past wasn't easy, I was not always this confident. But through the years of trial and error, repeated rejections, disappointments and low self-esteem, I was finally able to overcome it. I had to learn and unlearn things, and even today, I am still discovering and learning new things about myself. So I answered, "One piece of advice I can give young women, be the first one to say that you are beautiful. If you learn how to appreciate and love yourself first, the rest will follow". It takes practice but it all starts by simply talking to yourself and saying, "I am beautiful". If you love yourself first, everything else won't matter anymore.
