We’ve talked so much about letting go and moving on. Because with all of our successes, we still look back on the people and the things that we may have left behind. Sometimes, I think we feel like we don’t deserve those very successes that we worked so hard for. Sacrificed everything for. Bled for. Because we miss those who were there along the way. But you are not who you once were. You’re not the same person from last year, last month, or last week. The old adage “everything happens for a reason” rings true. People come and go. Sometimes they’re only here for a short while; to teach us valuable lesson. It might be a joyful one or it might be a heartbreaking one. It’s ok to miss them, but miss them, and then let them go when they’re gone. Think about that and let me know how you feel.
