my quintessential example of this:
i was holding him in my arms petting him while we were picking out what games to play that night. when we’d decided on a few, i needed to put the cat down in order to, you know, carry boxes. so i started letting him down, expecting that he’d eventually do the cat hop thing… but he never did.
i ended up lowering him all the way to the floor. and even then he never got his feet under him. i just sort of… plopped him down on his side as he stared up at me like a betrayed sack of flour.
I saw this so clearly in my mind and I’m never going to stop laughing at betrayed sack of flour.

This was a lovely message so thank you, it’s always nice to reconnect!
I’m doing well, although work is a whole situation for many reasons - lots of people leaving and lots of extra work mostly! But I’ve also been lucky enough to get to hang out with an internet friend and see lots of Six shows ahead of cast change and then another lovely friend bought me a meet and greet with a cast member that I have a lot of feelings about (v v positive feelings). So mostly very good but also like so many things are happening at once that I can’t quite process them all!
How are you? How is school? I hope you’ve been quiet on here due to having fun in the outside world, but feel free to vent if things have been less fun!
