My dad asked about the extra day i picked up cuz i only had four days scheduled. Said not to kill myself working then showed me the song “moving out” by Billy Joel . A song essentially asking whats the point of working so hard. I got the message. The message was the exact opposite of what my mom tells me. She wants me to work myself to death it seems. I had only four days scheduled because of a doctors appointment and she could not let go that one day extra rest. Made it impossible to enjoy myself, impossible to use that day to study. Picked up another shift just to get her to leave me alone.

What my dad said to me meant alot. Simple but something i never thought id get him imput on.

Its rare when hes confident enough to go against her. But he almost always is.

Summary

Tenya can remember when Present Mic came out as bisexual on his radio show a few years back - the backlash was immediate. News outlets all over the place complaining about how Present Mic’s radio show was supposed to be for all ages, including kids, but he was bringing up an adult topic like this? And hadn’t he recently been hired as a UA teacher? Was he really someone they wanted their future heroes learning from?

And sure, it's been a few years since then and the whole thing ultimately blew over without Present Mic ever taking that much of a hit to his ratings, and Tenya knows his parents and his friends wouldn't care necessarily, but it's still frightening to imagine being the center of that kind of media attention. Terrifying to think that the secret that could end his career before it's even started is that he's in love with a boy, not that he once tried to murder a man.

A story in which Iida Tenya deals with dating Bakugo Katsuki, juggling two separate friend groups, a teacher that knows him far too well, someone he loves getting horribly injured again, and the prospect of admitting he's gay. Somehow, dating Bakugo is the easy part.

Just finished reading this fic. It is very cute.its got cute but still understandable chat fic aspects. I normally have a very hard time reading chat fics so either they did a very good job writing it. Or I can finally comprehend them. We get to see iida tenya have more fleshed out personalities and i do feel this is a good view of him being a little shit in the same space has his rule abiding is a delight.

I like how bakugo is portrayed and and that we get to see alot of Baku squad.

Though i do think this writer had alot of substance they left to the imagination. It has good writing for the most part. It did end abruptly. But it was a read i enjoyed.

Eijirou has a horrible on and off relationship with his girlfriend and is constantly buying her flowers to try and make her love him.

Katsuki works at a flower shop and has the sweetest five year old who adores the pretty redhead that keeps stopping by.

Catching feeling is the easy part. The hard part is the risks they both take.

Or, The flowershop AU where Kiribaku teach each other how to love and be loved.

In second year of high school, Bakugou's cruel words to Midoriya were publicized. That marked the start of Bakugou's life as he knew it going up in flames.

Four years later, Bakugou is a self-made hero. He doesn't need an agency or support, at least that's what he likes to believe. So he patrols where no one dares to roam, saving people in a place where it really counts. Where villains are not the biggest threat to society, and where a monster haunts its people.

He's surviving, not thriving. But everything changes when Kirishima Eijirou worms his way back into his life.

Izuku shoved the phone back into his pocket and began to run out. “The other new teacher should be here any minute! Text me if you have any questions! I’ll see you later!”

“Wait, Deku!” The door shut, making Katsuki’s mouth snap closed. He wasn’t the only newbie. He put his head in his hands and tried to contain the uncertainty bubbling in him.

“Bakugou?” A voice called across the room.

Katsuki knew that voice in an instant. “Kirishima?” He asked the question before he even turned around to look at Kirishima. He looked exactly like he did the last time that Katsuki saw him, except that he had aged like a fine wine. He still had that red spiky hair and the same stupid, shirtless hero costume. Katsuki couldn't even remember the last time they were in a room together. What was that? Seven– no eight years ago?

OR: At Aizawa's request, Katsuki becomes the new homeroom teacher for class 1-A. He isn't expecting the new class B teacher to be Kirishima, the man he used to be in love with in high school, who's been overseas for the last eight years.

Opinion: when i look for kiribaku i look for good flirting, good pinning, and great banter. i have never find what scratches that itch so completely until now. The plot is well done if a little rushed at some points. It could be more fleshed out but alot of work was put into this story. It gives you what you want which is the best relationship dynamic and flirting ever, at the cost of skipping around the school students plot. Still very well done. Though the wording and discriptors are simple, nothing flowery like i normally fall inlove with.

In conclusion: Great flirting, great concept okay follow through, an asexual writer back at it again with great intimacy writin, original characters, rip your heart out second to last chapter.

HAS A THIRD INSTALLMENT ON GOING. And i eat that shit up. their work is well done, thought out, and heart wrenchingly good. The fluff is adorable, the hurt/comfort is always worth tears. The descriptions are beautifully done. And unlike how i write, the punctuation, grammar and formatting is done correctly. Also the foreshadowing is genuinely the best ive ever read. I am not joking about that.

My only strife is that the scene changes dont have explicit starts and ends. Though i find that it’ll add to the stories flow to be thrown into the next scene. Truly this evil goose hive-mind has perfected their craft. Please give their work a read.
