Generally speaking, I think BioWare handled Cullenâs shit as well as they could for a tertiary character. (With the exception of his writing in 2âŠbut I have some gripes in general about the lack of subtlety there that isnât Cullen specific.)
I do think they dropped the ball on showing his suffering until you find out about lyrium. You get told heâs been having a real hard time, but without context of the previous games (I did not play before getting way into Inquisition though I have now), a lot of that is missing before the turn. (Which is partly why I wrote my fanfic. Heh)
I have a lot of thoughts on his arc that I will probably discuss when I finally finishing editing this fic that was just supposed to be a short little exercise and post it. Anyway, hereâs some unsubtle art. â€ïž
Iâm trying to find a color style I like thatâs not my painterly stuff; it takes too long. So there will be some experimentation here.
