Its a very lonely feeling to miss your abuser.
No matter what they did to you, you still were attached to them. Losing that attachment is painful.
But if you ever mention it then people question if you were really abused.
No matter how seriously someone abused you, it is completely human to miss them when they are gone. You are allowed to, and it is healthy to, grieve the relationship ending.
Just always remember that.

I think for the first time I just realized how truly traumatized I am. Normal people donât think or behave in this way. Their brains donât tell them that they deserve to hurt, or remind them of their constant feelings of unworthiness. Their insecurities donât make them panic and shut down.
Wow I wonder what if feels like to live like that.
