[ @huimang-ia ]
Junseo took in a deep breath as he stood in front of the rows of display cases inside of the bakery, his eyes taking in every fluffy and soft pastry - senses overflowing with bliss. He loved bakeries and cafes more than anything else in the world. It was a reminder of the simple things that the world had to offer. No matter what realm - if there were sweets, you'd find him there. He held the little woven basket in his hands, already a few red bean buns inside as he started to browse the rest of the selection.
It was quite a sight really, seeing the stoic faced man in a setting like this. Only a few people who knew Junseo well would know that sweets were his weakness to almost any situation. He was one of those people who could be easily bribed if the right sweets were put on the table.
He walked around the middle display case and to the left he noticed a small fridge adorned with drinks and a few snacks. At first glance nothing seemed to catch his eye, but he then saw a lonesome small jar of pudding sitting along the side of the fridge. Junseo's brows lifted as his eyes lit up and to his dismay, a small boy was trying to reach the last cup. Junseo smirked to himself and looked down at him, their eyes meeting before both glancing at the pudding. He grabbed the last jar and the boy lit up, extending his hand out to the jar in Jun's hand.
"Hm? Oh you thought I was getting this for you?" Jun grinned knowingly and shook the jar a bit in his hand. "Oh no...this is the last one huh? Mm...shame. Maybe when you grow taller." He jeered at the boy. The child's face started off in disbelief and then slowly turned into a saddened expression, eyes starting to well with tears as he sniffled. Jun rolled his eyes and gave the boy one of the seven red bean buns he had grabbed and went up to the register, paying for all of his goods. Once everything was bagged, Jun left the bakery but not before cheekily sticking his tongue out at the boy as he walked out the door, shaking his bag of sweets in his hand before strolling out, whistling to himself.

Oh god, is that a drug? Akobel had seen enough destruction from his first initial walkthrough of Earth as an Angel-to-be to know those were like awful candy. They were sweet and addicting and yet, they made humans crazy and unrecognizable. He wouldn't do that; Akobel vowed as a sacrament he would never do drugs.
But well, Akobel isn't an Angel anymore. Maybe he does need that extra kick.
"What is that?" Ako questions as he's rolling up his sleeve as Junseo instructed. He doesn't expect his answer though β is venom drug inducing? βΒ because he was mostly asking himself that question when honestly, he'll take anything to get the pain to go away if Junseo thinks this will solve his problem. Akobel tries not to show any fear on his features when there's a syringe so close to his skin because it's intimating. He doesn't take human pain well so this may actually be worse than all the headaches he's ever experienced combined. Akobel shudders at the thought.
"Okay, on three," Ako repeats back in a low mumble as he tries to calm his heartbeat that's practically beating at his chest. "One β" Ako counts along with Jun but then he's suddenly pinched with a burning sensation at his arm and Ako has to bite his inner cheek so hard that he almost bites through skin. It feels weird because Akobel has never had anything injected into him before the fallen angel could almost feel the venom travel deep into his veins. It takes a few seconds of silence as his own eyes refuse the leave the spot where Jun had injected him but ... the headache is gone. Actually, his arm pain is gone too. What?
Akobel looks up, meeting Junseo's eyes with a frown. "My headache is gone," he states as he blinks back in confusion. "Nothing hurts anymore." He reaches over to prod at his own arm but he doesn't feel any pain. It's actually pretty amazing. "What did you do? Make a deal with pactdemon or something? Normal medicine never did anything to my headaches ... I always had a special case."
He pauses for a brief moment, clicking his tongue before smiling lopsided at the other male with full forced dimples popping out at his cheeks. "How many vials do you have?"
Junseo didn't want to scare Ako with the details, but he had been the first person to try his concoction besides himself. And although he had high hopes for the venom to work on the other male, he still wasn't a hundred percent sure if it would be as effective as it's been on him. He watched the other carefully, knowing he had something to combat any negative side effects that could arise. He watched Ako carefully, studying his facial features and trying to detect if anything bad was happening to him but from his reaction and the curiosity and confusion on his friend's face, he was safe to assume that he wasn't dying.
God, how messy would that have been? Accidentally killing your friend because he had a headache. It would be embarrassing for the both of them.
Jun let out a small sigh of relief when Ako spoke and chuckled softly under his breath, shaking his head in disbelief that his venom worked. "Yeah? I'm glad. Uh, to be quite honest with you Ako, I wasn't sure how you were going to react to the venom. I've only used this on myself and well of course my own venom can't really hurt me so you were my little guinea pig just now." He reached over and patted the man on the small of his back. "Like I mentioned - this stuff is diluted so it's just enough to do the job." When he asked how many vials he had, Junseo pursed his lips and looked back at his drawer, remembering the quantity. "About ten vials at the moment. It usually takes some time to make since I need to extract them from my fangs and that usually gets me a little worn out but not as bad as when I fully turn. I eventually want to make stronger strains of it to see if it has other capabilities but I'm quite satisfied with this batch. Why?"

After eating breakfast, Jun decided to make use of his time and headed back up to his room before changing into his gym attire, making his way back down to the lower level of the home and headed to the personal gym he spent a good majority of his time in. He went about his usual routine for leg day, making sure to stretch and warm up before hitting any of the weights. The Nagini was quite flexible as one could guess, letting out small groans as he stretched his limbs. It felt good and definitely woke him up fully from the grogginess he experienced before breakfast.
He sat down on the bench press, heavy breathing as beads of sweat collected at his brow, grabbing his phone and seeing that the other user had responded. He wiped the sweat with the back of his hand and leaned against his thighs as he responded back.

I definitely can see your marketing being successful with a name like that. As for Harry Potter - I'm aware. It's quite entertaining that you would sort me as a Slytherin as I'm a Nagini. So I suppose it's fitting to the core. Oh and believe me I think you're not the first person to want her head.
I quite enjoy staring at the Black Baccara Roses that my family has in their garden. I usually can see it from my window and it's almost like velvet. It would be nice to see some once I go to the Academy to remind me of home. Although you'll need to instruct me on how to preserve it to the best of my ability. Otherwise I will wait for it to whither and press it into one of my books. I usually do that since, as you now know, I'm horrible with floral care.
Ah. That reminds me... my name is Junseo. You can address me as Jun if you would like. I don't mind.
I haven't met many Reapers in my life, surprisingly. Or perhaps I have in passing. Tell me - do you enjoy wearing being depicted almost as a dementor in human media? Haha. Oh how elegant you must look.
[ @jinki-ia ] βWell hello there! Welcome to Dark Letters Bar, anything you want I gotβ He smiles waving the new comer over to a stool at the bar.Β βPlease come in, unless youβre underage then come in secretlyβ The Shigofumi laughed throwing his rag over his shoulder.Β
It was only by chance that Junseo stumbled across the bar, looking around at the overall atmosphere and being quite surprised that he was fond of it despite the people being around. He was glad however that it didn't seem too packed tonight with the rain pouring down. Junseo didn't quite mind the rain and quiet storms that would linger in the distance but the storm was getting closer, so much so that he could feel the thunder in his chest. He hated it. "Have any decent absinthe?" He asked, voice soft yet steady at the same time. He walked over to the bar, taking a seat at the stool as he rested his forearms onto the cool counter.
The man watched as Jinki started to prepare the drink for him. He hummed and gave a slight bow out of curtesy. "It's a pleasure meeting you. I'm Junseo. Feel free to call me Jun if you'd like..." He glanced out the window to see the rain again and as the thunder rumbled and boomed in the sky, Jun clenched his jaw, fists doing the same.
"It's definitely a relief. I'm not fond of loud storms like this. It makes me feel uneasy. But I suppose after this drink I'll feel a bit more relaxed. At least I hope - " Jun smirked and watched as the liquid dripped over the sugar cube. "May I add another sugar cube? I quite like mine sweet..." He asked shyly.
It was pouring down rain, each step splashed water around, but it hardly bothered the mirrorwalker. He was wearing nothing but a big T-shirt and some joggers and.. socks? Heβd forgotten shoes on his way out in search of his little friend. He approached one of the only people he saw out in this weather- βHey, have ya seen a creature about this size?β he showed the size of a big cockroach with his hand, βit might be in trouble.β
There were two types of rainy days that differed so much that it always changed Jun's mood. There were the rain storms where the wind howled and bludgeoned against any and every surface it could touch, destroying the delicate branches and leaves of the surrounding greenery that surrounded the area - violent really. And there were the days where the rain poured hard, yet each drop hitting the ground sounded like a whisper released from the clouds. The droplets would be heavy, yet when they hit his skin, it was softβ¦
Today was the latter and Junseo loved it. He was walking through the village, keeping his head down as he watched the droplets collect at his ends and eventually depart. It was peaceful to him.
But of course all things come to an end. And as the sound of the wet footsteps quickened towards him, he looked up and met the eyes of a man who seemed to have forgotten his shoes. Gross. The feeling of wet socks made Junseo cringe inwardly.
"There are many creatures that fancy being outside. You'll have to be more descriptive than that. And besides, I doubt a creature that size would even enjoy being out in this weather." He spoke over the rain, pushing his hair out of his features.

[ @akobel-ia ] The first month of the semester seemed to go by faster than Jun had expected. He had retained so much new knowledge that he knew he would have never have learned this fast if he had just stayed at home, which made him grateful for pushing himself to join the academy. However, on top of retaining knowledge, he surprised himself and somehow retained relationships. It was a pleasant surprise really. He didn't think that he would meet people and enjoy their company since he would often hide himself away in his room back home from his siblings, but this was different. The people here were intriguing and different. Like Akobel for example. Jun enjoyed the other's presence especially since he wasn't particularly loud compared to their classmates. And his presence felt somewhat calming.
Jun glanced up from his book to look at Ako before placing it down onto the coffee table that had become their study nook and let out a sigh. "This scavenger hunt that our professor has us doing in the text is unnecessary. Just give us a fucking powerpoint or some shit." Junseo rested his head against his arm on the table and stared at Ako. "Any luck on your end for number eight?"
TW: NEEDLES
When Ako expressed the migraine that was eating away at him, Jun nodded slowly. He had noticed earlier in their night that his friend was out of it. And although there were moments he caught the other deep in thought, this was definitely different. "A migraine? Hm..." Jun sat there for a moment, contemplating if he should give his "stash" to Ako. Although he could tell from the dull light behind his eyes and the atmosphere around him starting to dull along with it, Ako needed it.
Jun stood up from where he sat on the floor and puckered his lips as he started to rummage through his dresser, pulling aside his sweatpants that he used to cover the vials, not wanting to expose them to light. The liquid inside the vials were clear and to those who didn't know, they probably could have guessed it was simply water. But of course who kept that in vials?
In reality it was venom he had extracted from his fangs. It didn't take much for Jun to show his fangs - much less energy sucking than transforming fully, but he did find himself needing a nap after each extraction session. This vial in particular though was a diluted solution of his venom that he had first experimented with and found that it helps others with lesser pains and looking at his friend he decided it would help.
"Here - " He said softly, sitting beside Ako and reached over into his desk, grabbing a syringe enclosed in plastic to keep each one sterile. "Roll up your sleeve for me? Trust me. This is something I conjured up after doing some heavy reading on some chemistry and potion textbooks. It's a diluted source of my venom and I found that it's quite a great painkiller. Might help with your migraine." He unpacked the syringe and popped open the vial, dipping into the solution and filling the syringe carefully, tapping it and releasing any air bubbles while he pushed up against the plug.
"Count of three, okay?" He looked up at Ako through his long lashes, keeping eye contact with the other as he counted. "One-" He pushed the needle into Ako's arm and injected the solution into him, pulling the needle out just as swiftly to make sure the process was as painless as possible and just stared at the other male with a blank expression.
"Well?"

[ @spencer-ia ] Jun's lips formed into a tense line as he sat in his room, scrolling through the forums that had anything to do with the likes of Insolitus. It was a task he needed to do but oh how begrudgingly he went about it. It had been about an hour of endless scrolling now and it felt like he was getting nowhere when it came to his curiosity about what the students were like at the school. Despite his cold outward appearance, Jun often worried about whether or not the academy would be a good fit for him in a social aspect. He was quite used to not talking to anyone besides his family and thought that for the majority of his life, he'd keep it this way. But albeit his older sister's words -- "Socializing would do you some good".
He huffed at his laptop, already at the brink of giving up his search until a sub forum caught his eye. A pen pal forum for the surrounding area. And it seemed from what his tired eyes could tell, a lot of the people in the forum were students. He settled his wrists against the keyboard, thinking for a moment before his fingers went to work.
Hello. I'm looking to enroll this fall at the academy but I'm not quite sure if it's truly the right move, or fit for me. I'd be appreciative if someone would give me more insight to help lead me ultimately to my decision. If you would like to connect, please DM me. Thank you.
Jun stared at the draft of his post for a few minutes, contemplating if this was going to be worth it. A pen pal? Really? He sighed and posted his inquiry. He closed his laptop and made a line straight to his bed, sneaking under the covers and went to bed hoping that tomorrow he woke up to a response - if any at all.
Junseo had finally decided to slide out of bed and make his way down the staircase to the large kitchen in his family's estate. He had been born into a wealthy family with plenty of siblings - six siblings to be exact, and with him that was seven. He was the middle child, having three older and three younger. It was quite nice, in his opinion, being the middle child. He was not coddled over nor was he pushed with expectations. He could be himself. And that's also why he could get away with not having any schooling of sorts for ages. But now being 300 years old, he needed something new to his daily life.
He grabbed an apple sauce packet from the fridge and popped the top open, squeezing the tube and mindlessly eating away until he felt the vibration in his pocket, pulling his phone out to see another reply. He hummed as he read through the message and smirked at the name of the store. Charming. He held the packet in his mouth, slowly sucking on the apple sauce while his slender fingers typed out a reply.

I don't quite feel social enough to go to bars or clubs...but I will admit that the name of your floral shop is quite charming. It makes me wonder what was going through your mind during the thought process while naming it. Heh.
Well, to frankly put it - I've gotten quite bored with my day to day life here at my family's estate and I enjoy learning. It's been...a few hundred years since I've attended school and have solely been relying on books and stories to feed my mind and the unending hunger I have for knowledge. You know what they say - knowledge is power. So I took it upon myself to find more out about the academy and enroll. I will admit I did look at other schools, but none quite peaked my interest like Insolitus.
I am quite curious as well though - do you enjoy being a florist? Do you consider yourself a green thumb? I can't say that much about myself. Plants don't like my care. Or perhaps my care is what kills them. I suppose I have a black thumb more than a green one...

[ @hemlock-ia ] "I wouldn't do that if I were you," he comments watching the other man. A small smirk playing around his lips as he leans against the wall, lighting a cigarette. "I think I saw a were pee there just now, you know how they can be, the were's."
After settling into his living space, Jun had thought it would be fitting to get some exploring done of the village near the academy before classes started on the following Monday. He was hoping that there weren't going to be many people still lingering around this late at night and he was right. Of course there were still people walking around but compared to the crowds he saw earlier on his way to his place, this was peaceful.
He had made a left through a small street, eyes finally looking up at the faint lights from the stores and he opened his mouth slightly when he caught scent of something unpleasant. His nose scrunched a bit in disgust before he heard a voice come from his peripheral vision. He turned to see the other standing there, faint amber coming from his cigarette.
"Ah, is that what it is?" He scrunched his nose once more before pursing his lips, trying to rid of the traces of the scent that lingered now in his head. "Don't tell me that happens often around here..."
βit is.β it was a disgusting practice but it was what it was. βJust when the full moon is close, you know how they are- or maybe you donβt I donβt know your life.β a chuckle escaped the man before taking another deep inhale, loving to feel how the nicotine and tar destroyed his ever regenerating body. It was a good feeling to destroy and heal again. Quite addictive, just as the nicotine in this little fuckstick of desire.
His mind trailed off from the matter at hand- he refocused his gaze on the stranger. βThe owner of the night club ahead-β he gestured up the road in Vighulir βhe hates wereβs so they donβt do it there, since heβs an arch demon. So this alley is their favourite spot to mark.β a pause as he threw the cigarette bud on the ground and killed the fire with his heel.
βYou new here then?β
The stench of piss started to get masked by the other man's cigarette, and Junseo was somewhat grateful as he tried to focus on it instead of the alleyway. But as the cigarette burned out, he sighed and tried to hone in on other scents around them for the sake of his own sanity.
"I see. I didn't come across behavior like that back home, but then again I didn't get out much." Jun admitted, the corner of his lips twitching a bit, feigning a smirk. "Was it that obvious?" His smirk was now more evident on his sharp features and wandered closer to the other. "But yes, I am. I'm Junseo." He greeted, looking around a bit before settling again on the man.
"Do you often lurk in the shadows to call out new people around here?" He jeered.

Spencer supposed that most people would describe him as a solitary figureβ someone who often spent his time alone, his resting face practically screaming apathy and disinterest. And the reaper honestly couldnβt blame them, because he did spend most of his time alone. However, he could admit that this was a phenomenon that he wasnβt entirely happy about. If he was honest with himself, the florist would admit that he would actually quite like some company every now and then. Because sure, he may have made it a habit to talk to the different plants that he took care of in his little shop, but having someone share their thoughts with him when he talked about this and that was a different feeling entirely.
It was probably why Spencer found himself browsing through different forums, with topics ranging from gardening and crocheting to life concerns in general. Heβs never had a conversation that was longer than a handful of messages, since it was usually just him providing others with advice, but it still made the ache of loneliness that lodged itself in his chest and occasionally crept up his throat subside quite a bit.
Replying to other concerns here and there, the reaper paused at a question posted by what he assumed was a soon-to-be student. His thoughts immediately went to the academy near his shop, and before he knew it, he was already typing down a message to the anonymous poster.

Hello, I saw your post from one of the forums weβ seem to both be part of, and I wanted to see if I could help? Thereβs an academy nearby my workplace, and most of the people I know go there as well, so I might be able to provide some insight.
The mornings were always so unpleasant to Junseo. He was the epitome of what people would describe as not being a morning person. But after he groggily grabbed his phone and struggled to read the notifications displayed on his screen, he realized that someone had responded to his inquiry. He blinked hard, trying to get himself to wake up faster and sat up slowly with a grunt, reading the DM.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I have been trying to do research about Insolitus academy and although I am aware of the curriculum they provide, there's not much insight on what the student life would be like there. Seeing as you know quite a handful of people that go there, I think it's safe to assume now that they don't lock their students in their dorms? A relief really.
Are there many other shops near the academy? I'm not always the type to explore, but when I get antsy it's nice to know I have options.
Jun stared at his reply again. Was he coming off too strong? Asking too many questions? His brows furrowed on his sleep veiled features and decided to send his reply anyways before flopping back into his bed, burrowing under his sheets as he curled up to preserve his warmth.
