NT Moment #12
When loving something or someone means you have to learn everything about them.
the universe: okay, youāre a human. I gave you free will and a conscious mind, so youāre free to do whatever you want. So what do you wanna do?
human: GO FAST
the universe: well, youāre a perfect pursuit predator but if thatās the way you want to evolve, go ahead.
human, climbing on a horse: GO FAST
the universe: wait what
human, inventing the carriage, the car and the bullet train: GO FASTER
the universe: I IMPLORE YOU TO STOP
human, trying to figure out lightspeed travel: FAS T ER
human:Ā
THEORETICALLY MAXIMUM FAST
the universe:
How will the people in the ship not get gibbed?
Because the warp drive doesnāt actually accelerate the ship, it just makes the space in front of it smaller and the space behind it larger. Or something.
it works like this
Objects cannot accelerate to the speed of light within normal spacetime; instead, the Alcubierre drive shifts space around an object so that the object would arrive at its destination faster than light would in normal space without breaking any physical laws.
A WRINKLE IN TIME IS COMING TRUEĀ
We gonna be surfing gravity waves!!
COWABUNGA SPACE DUDES!
I love how mankindās solution to ftl is just to bend to rules of reality a little.
Universe: ok human, with the physical laws as they are you canāt go faster than the speed of light.
Humanity: ok, let me just figure out how to manipulate space time so I can go FASTER!
Thatās literally how the ship in Futurama works lol the professor says the ship doesnāt move at all, it moves all of space around it. Canāt believe Futurama was right
NT Moment #11
When you feel the unquenchable urge to critique a fan fiction at two in the morning, using full paragraph formatting and proper grammar, because it just eats at you.
NT Moment #10
Them: Have you no shame?
Me: Thatās the goal.
NT moment #9
When you are in an unfamiliar and stressful situation, your mind is working profusely, you are internally freaking out, and yet, your face looks completely indifferent.

NTās and Flirting #2
NT: Hey, would you mind plugging this in? *gestures to phone*
SP: Yeah. *pause* Yeah, Iāll plug it in. Iāll plug it in real good, baby. You like that? Get it?
NT: Yeah, I know. I made that joke two minutes ago.
NTs and Flirting #1
Flirter: āYou have a bubble butt and it makes me so hotā
NT: That is biologically correct
NT Moment #6
When your catchphrase isĀ
āNot completely sure, but pretty sure Iām rightā
Rational Moment #5
When this is a daily occurrence-
Savage Mode: Activated.
Rational Moment #4
When youāre enjoying dinner in the cafeteria with your roommate and they abuse the phraseĀ āget outā one too many times while pointing toward the door, and you literally leave the room for a few minutes, just to teach them its proper use.
Backstory: basically, my roommate loved to use the phrase 'get out' all the time, when I said something funny or outrageous by her standards. I mean, daily occurrence. She was always like "Get out of my house" and I was always like "But I live here" and she was always like "Nope. Get out" and I would turn jokingly to head out the door. I never did until the incident described in the main post, which occurred near the end of the school year. I went to get us drinks from the shop next door to the cafeteria.
Iām here to sell you something

NT: Everything is stupid.
SJ: Why do you say that?
NT: Because Iām stupid, and Iām smarter than a lot of things.
