Transmed: Would it make sense for someone without gender dysphoria to go on hormones?
Tucute: Well, yeah! As long as they’re comfortable!
Transmed: So it would also be ok for someone without depression to take anti-depressants, just because it makes them comfortable?
Tucute: Well-
Transmed: Or someone without asthma to use an inhaler?
Tucute: Not exactl-
Transmed: What about someone without an addiction to go to rehab?
Tucute: …
ok. to clear everything up…
this was simply meant as a way to say "you need dysphoria to be trans." yes, i understand that people without depression can take anti-depressants, for anxiety and such. yes, i understand that people without asthma may need to use an inhaler. yes, i understand that people may go to rehab to visit people with addictions, and may not have one themselves. this all makes sense in my argument, since some people also may need to take hormones who are not trans.
stop trying to be creative by using any of this as an argument, because i understand all of it. i was simply pointing out the various things listed as doing their main purpose to someone who doesn't need that main purpose. this was mainly just an argument against "non-dysphoric trans people."
