Hi! This is just-a-useless-atla-oc-au, and here I'll give a brief introduction to the whole blog:

It's an atla oc × canon. It includes my very unfitting were-dragon oc, Lee, and Zuko! (Because of course it does. He's one of the guys of all time, sorry this is very Zuko centric blog all the time)

Once more, this is an art/archive blog for my oc × canon. I am completely uninterested in commissions, so please don't ask for them. If I do, I'll say so in this very pinned post. If you ask for one in a comment or ask, I'll ignore and/or remove it, possibly blocking whoever sent it (if it seems like a scam), so please have it in mind.

zuko’s journey

Jetko fan child but it's a random orphaned baby jet found and had to take care of (he had no idea what to do) and it makes both of them deal with their toxicity and the possibility of being more than acquaintances + wholesome mess up dads. Quite possibly stopping their beef for a while. Can be interpreted as teen dads jetko or adult as well.

But it'd sure be fucked up if Zuko hadn't taken care of the baby when Jet got caught by the Dai Li and Smellerbee and Longshot held an even worse grudge (especially Smellerbee) towards Zuko for not taking accountability while they had to do what Jet had always done for them, after he died due to Zuko.. And the baby still remembers Zuko and misses him to a certain extent as well as being too young to cope with the concept of death and always crying out for Jet.... Maybe entering a conflict with the remaining freedom fighters when Zuko tried to make things better and help them raise the baby but all of them thought he'd take it away from them when he's already taken Jet away. Hmm and also maybe some ghost Jet that tried to calm the baby down? And haunts Zuko while the latter deals with all the guilt and duty?

Oh my goddd the concept of not posting so much about your atla oc bc you think it's so far fetched or like inserting an oc who has nothing to do with the show itself like it feels so unauthentic FUUU

Guys, is it ok to make slightly outlandish ocs? Is it ok to not know an ocs full storyline or traits or personality? Is it ok to post so publicly about the first time making a REAL oc with personality and motivations despite having absolutely zero idea how to write? Is it still ok to fill your oc up with lgbtqia+? Can you not be seen as cringe for it??

Worst thing is that I'm completely unable to get on it and NOT procrastinate. Even if I do draw them constantly in my free time, for the life of me, I can't seem to force myself to draw on mobile all the time.

I need to get a tablet or else I'm not drawing shit in here. I do it with so much ease on paper, I literally draw them constantly irl but I know that posting those drawings on here will do like shit unless they're prettier or colored

The funniest thing is that I didn't come up with leezardko (oc x canon) and then created this blog to occasionally remember and post them.

So to explain it a little better, I've been having them in my head for almost TWO WHOLE YEARS. Barely A MONTH after I watched atla for the first time.

And I only made this blog after ONE YEAR, with some bravery and especially after I left my very very shameful cai addiction from back in the day. Bc I was afraid of posting about them, and how little reception they'd get, if it'd make me stop loving them, but I was also really eager to just share it anywhere. (still am)

Like this is completely serious, I literally have been thinking about them EVERY DAY since then. Or at least this last year and a little more.
