hi can you do a story about when levi and the twins and you meet mikasa and the other scouts their interactions etc (like post rumbling but levi not in a wheelchair) that would be rly cool thx!
The 104th cadet members meet Levi's twins!
A/n: It was really refreshing to write! But instead of the post rumbling arc, I decided to do the post shiganshina arc instead, where Eren, Sasha, Hange are alive!
"I'm just excited!" Connie snaps back. "Captain Levi's kids! Do you know how insane that is?"
Eren scoffs. "What's insane is imagining Captain Levi as an affectionate father."
"Oi."
The single syllable freezes the entire courtyard.
Levi stands at the entrance, arms crossed, eyes sharp as ever. He looks... exactly the same. Same intimidating posture. Same death glare.
Except—
There's a small boy clinging to his leg.
And a little girl on the opposite side, fingers gripping his pinky finger like it's the most important thing in the world.
The courtyard goes dead silent.
"...Holy shit," Eren whispers.
Sasha stops munching her potato and gasps dramatically. "T-They're tiny."
The boy peeks out first.
Jet-black hair. Steel-grey eyes. Levi's face copy-pasted onto a four-year-old—except when the kid grins.
And when he grins, it's like Levi is smiling for the first time in his life.
Everyone collectively loses their minds.
"Oh my god," Historia breathes. "He looks exactly like the Captain."
Jean squints. "Why does it feel illegal to see Captain smiling?"
The boy suddenly lets go of Levi's leg and waves enthusiastically.
"Hi!!!"
Levi sighs. "...Told you not to move without my permission."
"It's ok, dad!" the boy says proudly. "I wanna play with them."
But then, Levi's girl whimpers.
"No—no—no—" Levi crouches instantly, voice dropping. "Hey. You're fine. I'm right here."
She buries her face into his shoulder, sniffling.
Eren gasps.
"Holy shi-"
Mikasa steps forward, pushing Eren to the side before he says something stupid. "Captain? Is she okay?"
"She's overwhelmed," Levi answers flatly, rubbing her back with practiced ease. "Too many people."
Historia's eyes soften immediately.
"Oh," she says quietly. "Poor thing..."
The girl peeks out again— big eyes, your eyes— already glossy with tears.
Historia kneels without hesitation. "It's alright," she says softly, smiling. "You don't have to be scared."
The girl stares at her.
Then— slowly— reaches out and grabs Historia's finger.
Levi watches closely.
"She likes you," he says softly.
Historia smiles like she's been blessed by the universe.
"I'm honored."
The boy, meanwhile, has already escaped Levi's eyesight again.
He walks straight up to Eren.
"You're tall," he declares.
Eren blinks. "Uh—thanks?"
He then looks at Jean.
"You're taller."
Jean snorts proudly.
Eren sputters. "HEY—!"
Everyone laughs. A bright, unrestrained laugh.
And Levi—
Levi's expression softens so much it's almost too beautiful to watch.
"...He's smiling," Connie whispers. "Captain Levi is actually smiling.'
"Don't say it out loud," Jean hisses. "You'll break the illusion."
And then....
Hange suddenly appears from nowhere.
"LEVI—"
"No."
Levi says it instantly. Firm. Absolute.
Hange freezes mid-step. "No?"
"You're not touching them."
"But—!"
"No."
Hange pouts. "That's discrimination."
The boy turns his head.
"Woah," he says, eyes lighting up. "You look cool."
Hange's eyes sparkle. "YOU think I look cool?!"
Levi just sighs. His boy loves to do the opposite of what tells him to do.
And just to prove that point again the boy walks straight up to Hange.
"What's that thing?" he asks, pointing at her goggles.
"These?" Hange kneels instantly. "They help me see Titans better."
"That's AWESOME."
Levi glares. "I knew this would happen."
Hange laughs, delighted. "Come on, Levi, your son has excellent taste."
"Don't pick him up," Levi warns.
Hange raises her hands innocently. "I won't! I swear!"
The boy reaches up on his own.
"Up?"
Levi glares at Hange like he's deciding whether murdering Hange is justified or not.
"Five seconds," he mutters. "Then put him down."
Hange gasps dramatically. "I'm honored."
Meanwhile, the girl is now sitting beside Armin.
She's quiet. Still clingy. But she inches closer when Armin speaks softly.
"I like books," Armin tells her gently. "Do you like stories?"
She nods.
"...Yes."
Her voice is tiny.
Armin smiles gently. "Then we'll get along."
She leans against him.
Levi notices immediately.
"She likes you too."
Armin smiles nervously. "I— I'll read her as many stories as she wants."
Jean mutters, "Why does everyone become emotional idiots around his kids?"
Sasha kneels in front of the boy as soon as Hange sets him down.
"Do you like food?" she asks eagerly.
His eyes light up.
"Yes!"
Sasha gasps. "We're soulmates."
Levi just sighs again.
The boy spins around, taking everything in.
"Dad," he says suddenly.
Levi looks down. "What now, brat?"
"Are these your friends?"
"...Yeah."
The boy grins. "They're nice."
The girl tugs Levi's sleeve.
"...Papa."
Levi kneels instantly again. "What is it?"
She whispers, "Can we stay a little?"
Levi exhales slowly.
"Yeah," he says quietly. "We can stay."
Everyone watches.
The strongest soldier humanity has ever known— kneeling between his children, one smiling like the sun, the other clinging like she might break— looking more human than they've ever seen him.
So Mikasa finally decides to speak.
"...Captain?"
Levi looks up. "What."
"You're... a good dad."
Levi blinks.
"Tch."
He looks away.
"I try."
And for the first time—
The Survey Corps realizes that Levi Ackerman didn't just survive hell.

🌸
"When we get older..."
You said as you lay beside him on the nearby hill—his usual secret spot—watching the sky drift by. The back of your head rested against his chest, partially listening to the calm, steady rhythm of his heartbeat. Each other's fingers tangled together, sending a warm feeling through where the heart lives. On the other hand, Cheong Myeong shifted his head closer, cheek squashed against the crown of your head, as if he wanted to catch every word before it could float away. He never missed a single one, like your voice was the most important thing to hear right then.
"...what will happen to us?"
You tilted your head up slightly, eager to hear Cheong Myeong's answer. "Us?" One of his eyebrows quirked up as he was thinking about the possibilities that may happen. He felt you nod—three times—followed by a string of enthusiastic "yeah, right" sounds. One of his palms spread across the back of your head, fingers combing slowly through your hair as though the answer might be hiding somewhere in it. After a quiet moment, he began to speak.
"I think, we will still be us."
'Still be us?' you thought, "What do you mean, Myeongie?" humor curled warm around your voice.
A soft sigh landed above your head, "Liiiike this. me and you, togetherrr," Cheong Myeong's arms sneak around your torso, locking you snugly against the warmth of him. A fond smile bloomed across his face. "We'll be stronger. Still looking young, though. And you'll get veeeery pretty. Prettier." He added the last word while turning you around so you were facing each other. "Or maybe—maybe we'll travel beyond Kangho, and emptying the world's liquor stock. Fuck those annoying elders."
Both of you smiled, then dissolved into laughter, savoring the moment.
"Don't say that, puh-lease," you poked his forehead. "They're annoying, I get it. But they're still your sasukjo." Hearing that, Cheong Myeong pursed his lips into a small pout, while his fingers busily fixing the reddish iridescent plum blossom hairpin that's still been used by you ever since the last 3 years to hold your hair.
"They always insist on making me teach the newbie sajil and samae!" He argued, and for some reason, he got more pouty than before.
It was something of an open secret—that the Plum Blossom Sword Saint refuses to take a disciple, despite possessing skill and knowledge worth passing down to generations. Nobody really knew why.
"Teaching is quite fun. Plus, they're also a bunch of amazing cuties~" you replied, brushing his unruly bangs away from his face. He couldn't help but lean into your touch.
With what seemed like his last remaining ounce of dignity, he fired back. "Seriously, sweets, they can't keep up with my pace... I've tried it once! Ended in complete disaster. And besides, I'm busy going here and there solving proble—mm?!—"
Mwah! A light peck landed on his lips.
Eyes blown wide. Breath hitched. A faint blush crept across his pale cheeks. "Unfair..." he whined, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
"Look, you are the ones who create problems," you laughed at him. And for some reason, he laughed too.
The night grew late. Cold breeze glided through the air, as the stars and the moon shone brighter. The song of crickets and cicadas threaded through the silence. It felt as though time itself had agreed to slow down.
"Hey, myeong-ah..." you whisper, tugging lightly at his sleeve. Cheong Myeong hummed in response, then murmured a lazy what and why.
"Let's get old together."
"..."
"..."
"....Seriously?"
"I mean—"
"We're literally doing it right now, silly." He poked your cheek several times for emphasis.
"I mean, like—like really old. Till our hair turns white and our skin goes all saggy and ugly and ewh."
His full heartfelt laughter rang out into the night after you say that.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, love."
---
Gasp
Hah—!
Hah.... hah... haa...
That day, early in the morning, Cheong Myeong jolted awake, panting. Trails of dried tears could've been seen along the corner of his eyes. Heart aches with the feeling of longing, for something important that has left him.
Another night, another dream about his past life.
Last week, he dreamt about his beloved Jangmun and Sahyung—Cheong Mun. Last 4 days, he dreamt about that brat, Tang Bo. Yesterday, he dreamt about the fucking Cheon Ma. Tonight, he dreamt about you.
As if the ghost of the past keeps on haunting him. Every emotion—guilt, sorrow, grief, longing—all of them, was chasing him from then till now. He doesn't know when any of it would stop.
Next year?
Next 10 years?
When he die again?
Never?
Currently, it's been years since he got reincarnated a hundred years after the war. The war that took down his Hwasan, the war that killed so many people, the war that killed Tang Bo and you.
You, his dearest partner. The one who stayed by his side until his last breath. His everything.
Living a new life is hard for him. Stuck in a foreign young nobody with a grey background. Cultivating his dantian again from zero. Doing hellish training to gain back his peak ability. Pretending to not know anything even though he knows everything. And worse, he's alone.
Luckily, the current Hwasan disciple is sort of solid. Not all of them, but still. He makes new friends, family, alliance, even enemies.
Acceptance is another thing. Sometimes, he's grieving like shit, or zoned out, trying to accept his fate. His favourite thing to do is to talk to himself like a madman, as if it somehow provides solace for him in times of distress.
Right now, he's doing none of that. Only staring up at the ceiling, listening to the joyous birds chirps, and planning about the ways to train the CheonWooMaeng Alliance's members today. Fuck it, he definitely would make it way harder than yesterday.

Maehwa Island, Yangtze River
After being abandoned by the Tang Family and Nokrim ever since the drunk discussion during the reunion with Hwasan, Maehwa Island was immediately occupied by the greedy Surochae—in the command of Black Dragon King—to oppose Jang Ilso's growing authority. Then, after Black Dragon King left for a while, the Namgung Family attacked and took over the Island with the same motive.
Knowing Maehwa is under attack, Surochae make a move. They surrounded the island and make a siege. Destroying cannons and counter attack the Namgung Family without holding back. As a result, the Namgung Family was stuck right there, destroyed, can't go anywhere in particular.
The news about the fight between Surochae and Namgung spread fast, especially to the other taoist sect. At first, Bop Jeong—from Shaolin—went to Hwasan to ask for help. That arrogant baldy even has the urge to plan to command them—which he had no right—and of course got refused by Hwasan, especially Cheong Myeong. Not only that, given the circumstances, he also tried to lure back Hye Yeon to go back to Shaolin—which is also refused by Hye Yeon. Offended, Bop Jeong stormed off from Hwasan and gathered his own team to rescue Namgung.
Because of the great clash, the innocent resident that lived near the Yangtze River also got affected. With the help of the Tang Family, they all gathered and moved away to Sichuan. Hearing the news, Hwasan decided to headed near the river to help Tang Family helping the former residents, instead of helping the Namgung Family. Well, Shaolin and the gang have helped them anyways.
As time went by, Surochae succeeded in tiring out the Namgung Family. Thus, they were slowly dying in one way or another. The prince of Namgung Family, Namgung Do Wi, which was full of himself in the beginning, was getting humbled. His mind was spiralling, seeing his family members life faded one by one. As they're physically and mentally worn out, they could only wait for rescue.
---
Shaolin, Gaebang, and Kongtong—the three great sect come to the rescue. At the same time with their arrival, another Saparyeon fleet with Jang Ilso in it docked not far from the crime scene.
'Amithaba... what the fuck? Amithaba...' Bop Jeong curse Inside his head.
Jang Ilso, the leader of the Evil Sect—Saparyeon— intimidated everyone right there, including the Righteous Sect. The rescue team stopped their tracks, cautious of Jang Ilso's trick that's likely unpredictable.
While watching the gruesome and ironic scene between the Namgung Family and Jang Ilso's fleet unfolded from across the river, Bop Jeong's shiny head tingles uneasily, feeling another presence behind the bushes. Not only him, everyone right there also feels it.

The sound of measured footsteps—and something dragging alongside them. Then the bushes parted, and two arms with long, slender fingers pushed through the gap. One hand gripped a long random stick. Bop Jeong and Hye Bang's eyes locked onto the strange sight. Slowly, a figure stepped out into the open.
"...What is happening here?"
'Ah—a girl,' They thought.
Your gaze swept across the gathered faces one by one, while trying to look friendly. Then, your eyes locked onto one person, Bop Jeong, the one who's bigger than the others.
You asked your questions: what, where, when, who, and how. In return, Bop Jeong and his companions answered briefly but thorough. When they asked who you were, you told them simply that you were a traveler. No one knows you anyways.
When they mention Hwasan, your eyes light up, and starts being nosy about them. Luckily, they answer the question quite professionally. After a while, you slipped away into the forests and set up a simple camp not far from the river. Too invested in the unfolding drama to go far. Besides, you still need to cultivate your dantian further and gather energy, in case things escalate that require your involvement.
Several days later, the sound of a bang, clashing steel, and general uproar carried over from the island and the river. Intrigued, you gathered your things and headed toward the chaos mainly for the fun of it, and partly to sharpen your swordsmanship against something real.
Across the water, a fierce battle raged on the island. You could make out figures in green, blue, and pink. Pink...? Hwasan?
Right after you think about hwasan, bright pinkish plum blossom petal erupted across the sky. Drifting wide in every direction.
---
Hwasan disciples and Tang family fought brilliantly, thanks to their training. They moved in sync, covering each other's flanks without needing to be told. Meanwhile, the shaolin gang was too cowardly to do anything, and some of them eventually leave.
In the midst of Cheong Myeong brutally beating Black Dragon King, Jang Ilso appeared and proposed an end to the fighting. Both sides agreed, and the battle came to a close.
Everyone began making their way back to shore. After bickering with the Shaolin gang, the CheonWooMaeng Alliance group turned and headed back toward their basecamp to resume training.
You slipped away from the island just as quietly as you'd joined, melting back into the forest to collect the other belongings you left at your camp.
While the others made their way back, Cheong Myeong lingered a while longer. Something had snagged at the edge of his awareness. A feeling, faint but persistent, that had first brushed against him during the battle on the island and hadn't quite let go.

Someone walking—with a stick?
He sharpened his focus and try to see what happened behind the bushes. He was still concentrating when a cool edge of metal came to rest between his shoulder blades, angled toward his neck.
"Who are you?" A cold, clipped female voice asked him.
He freezes. The way she spoke hit him somewhere too familiar to name. In one fluid motion, he drew his sword and turned the exchange into a fight. His movements carry every ingrained habit and stylistic signature of him.
By the time you both stopped, you were winded. You stood over Cheong Myeong with your sword leveled at him as he lay on the ground.
"I'm Cheong Myeong." He answered.
'Cheong Myeong? The fuck?' your eyebrows arches, confused.
"Is that actually your name, or are you just a fan of the great Plum Blossom Sword Saint?" you shot back, your voice carrying a dry, bitter edge.
Now, he was also confused. A young woman in this era, knew that name from the past?
"Huh? Then who are you? What are you—a fan of the Plum Blossom Sword Petal herself?!" He pause, "And what's with that hairpin that looks just like hers? Kids these days, honestly... tsk tsk tsk." He bit back.
"Excuse me—?!" Your temper nearly snapped right there.
A tense staring contest settled between you as both of you tried to piece things together.
Then, something in your mind clicked.
"I'm [name]."
His heart skipped a beat.
"Suddenly i woke up in this body and i don't know why and how," says you, while looking at the plum blossom embroidery stitched on the left side of his uniform. Reminiscing the glorious old days of the past. "I thought you were someone I knew, because you act just like him. And that sword style—"
Suddenly, he pulled you into a tight hug and let out a small, ragged sob. "Me too, baby. Me too," he said, voice breaking through.
Your walls came down right then and there. You cried quietly against him, both of you holding on, just letting it be.
"Myeong-ah, sorry—," sob, "back then, I— we—"
While you let everything pour out, one of his hands moved through your hair in slow, gentle strokes. The other traced small circles across your back. He murmured soft, comforting words against your temple, and he listened to every single word, without rushing any of it.
Then, it was his turn. He talked, haltingly at first, about everything he'd carried through the years. You wiped his tears when the words brought them, and his grip on your clothes tightened quietly each time he reached the parts that still hurt most.
---
"Let's head back to the basecamp," he said, catching the small yawn you tried to hide.
"But they don't know me."
Cheong Myeong just laughed it off. "I know you. So everything will be okay now."
His smile kept growing. He genuinely hadn't expected to smile like that—fully, without reservation—after everything that had come with being reincarnated.
"Okay, let's go. But I'm tired," you said with a pout, tugging briefly at his collar. "Carry me? Please?"
Cheong Myeong kissed your forehead, gently shifted you aside, and knelt down to offer you his back
The whole journey to the basecamp was filled with random conversation and long, comfortable stretches of silence. His movements were so light and sure that slipping in through a window and into his room required almost no effort at all.
Once inside, he tucked you in and set your belongings neatly on the other side of the room. Then he sat on the edge of the bed and rested a hand softly against your cheek. "I'm going to speak with the sect leader for a while. Wanna come?"
You nodded. "I'll go with you."
Cheong Myeong smiled and helped you sit up, his palm settling instinctively against your back. The kind of gesture that didn't need to be remembered because it had never really been forgotten. "I'll tell him that we're very close, and that you'll be helping me train the Alliance. How does that sound?"
"That works for me." You paused. "And tell him I'll be joining Hwasan too."
---
The next day, the entire Alliance was thrown into chaos. They had two devils training them now.
he would probably just beat up everyone before an overblot would even happen. If an overblot did happen the only reason the overblotte wouldn't be dead is because they're all kids to him.
So essentially, cm some how ends up in twst, and just saves the world by beating everyone up.
Thought I would share this random thought though. for funsies.
I'm thinking something happens during the beginning of rotbb so like he's got some character growth but not a bucket load of it yet. Still angsty.
There would be no fire in the sorting room because cm would not let himself be pushed around like that and would have gotten Crowley to realize he's from a diff world WAY sooner.
By the time they got to the mirror chamber to send him home most housewardens would prob be gone.
BOOM he can't go home, threatens to beat the headmage up, headmage cries and tells him he can stay until they get him home. CM agrees.
Cat is allowed to stay because CM needs his own henchcat.
Ace makes fun of cm for not knowing the great seven and narrowly misses getting his head caved in. CM breaks off part of the QoH statue Ace trappola is like wtf
BOOM punishment
Ace trappola runs away bc he's terrified and they chase him and canon happens so they once again end up in the dwarf mine because cm isn't backing down and deuce and ace are prepared to die for school apparently
(Ace tried to run away again and give up becasue he didn't want to die over his education but cm gave him a look and he decided that nothing in the haunted mine was scarier than this guy.)
Anyway the mine happens pretty much same as in canon up until the mine monster attacks in which cm absolutely demolishes the thing.
Ace and Deuce are traumatized. Grim in traumatized.
