One of the reasons I love my country!
Draft is done! Now just to edit, cut out about 700 words, and generally make less shit.
Roland Barthes, I love you! Except when I need to write an assignment on you. We're a bit iffy at the moment, but I'm sure we will spice up our relationship again soon.

Women in Love - DH Lawrence
Awesome book! I enjoyed it.
One of the perks for me was discussing the sex scenes in class. Vividly. It occurred to me that literature students are all mature until you say the word 'penis'. Then we turn into children that blush and giggle furiously into our books when we are asked to analyse the sex scene(s). Or how funny it is when character Hermione (NOT GRANGER!!!) experiences what seems like orgasmic pleasure from smashing a man's head with a paperweight. This led to a very hilarious (and somewhat inappropriate) discussion of violent sex and how some enjoy that.
The amount of blushing, nervous rambling, and laughter affirmed one thing for me:
You just don't get that sort of thrill in a business course (I would imagine).
