DEAN COULD HAVE HAD A NORMAL LIFE AS WELL. They laid the groundwork for it in 15x19 and 15x20.

WHY DOES ANYONE HAVE TO SACRIFICE THEMSELVES TO MAKE SOMEONE ELSE HAPPY? I understand that it’s a declaration of love…to do such a selfless act (especially in genre shows) but nah. Let’s normalize people having happy endings for once.

And no one @ me about Dean being happy and at peace in Heaven. I’m sure he is, but he didn’t get to enjoy the new world that he helped create. He never got to experience real, true love. He never got to see his beach and just be at peace in the world. He missed out on being an uncle to the kid who bears his name.

Sam could have had a normal life with Eileen. THE ONLY PERSON HE TRULY LOVED AFTER JESS. The writers could have made that work.

(Side note…I don’t hate Jared and would never…I just disagree with the storytelling.)
