The day after an argument, we spend a night together. You're peacefully snoring while I'm wide awake. I can't sleep. I've felt that I've gained unnecessary insecurity and as I lay next to you I don't feel we're on the level of where are relationship should be. I'm bothered at the fact that you are still flirting with other guys then again you could be friendly but guys that you have messed around with. I am hurt and scared. You’re coming home today from the Yosemite, I hope you had fun. Can’t wait to see all the pics you took. I hope you remember today is our 3 month if not its fine i’ll remind you later. I went back to the gym after so many months, i was surprised that i can still manage. In honor of our 3 months i did some shopping, i think you’ll like your surprise. While you were away i’ve been thinking about us. You know just the usual insecurity that you’ve heard before. I know you’re probably tired of hearing it from me but i can’t help it sometimes. I don’t know if its because I haven’t gotten to fully know you or it could just be my own inner thoughts. I’m not begging to meet your friends and family, i’ve come to respect that but sometimes it makes me feel that I'm not special enough. There’s know trace of my existance in your life just coincidance that a couple people now know of me. Im sorry for sounding selfish but i don’t understand. Am i just an outlet? My insecurities fucks a lot of things up for me. It leads me to being jealous and having a hard time trusting people’s feelings toward me. I have this mindset of not being enough for anyone and it sucks because often times I end up hurting not only myself but other people too, being offered that much and not be able to take it, or trust it. Always thinking that someone better will always come along and take what I have from me.
When someone suddenly or slowly stops talking to me I end up with this paranoia; negative thoughts pile up in my head. I always take the blame and gather up the things that could’ve been wrong with me and what they probably didn’t like about me. Questions like; maybe I wasn’t enough, maybe I was too much and this can go on.
I have this never ending self loathe and I have no idea how it started. I don’t know how to stop it. I hate being clingy and so demanding for attention but its the only temporary cure I can find for my insecurities. When someone gives me attention it makes me feel wanted, it makes me feel somewhat enough, worthy of something or someone’s presence.
I hate it, it drives me crazy and it steals hours of sleep away from me.
