I never thought rebounds made sense-- as a teenager, I thought they were part of movie lore. Damn was I wrong I guess that was just because as a teenager the only break up I had left me swearing off guys for a year and not even having a crush for a couple months longer than that. So I assumed this break up would be the same way But damn was I wrong.
I used to feel a marginal sense of accomplishment or at the least an idea of having completed something I needed to do from doing homework. But now when I finish a homework assignment I only feel guilty that it took time away from a different assignment that needed my attention along with the endless feeling that I'll never catch back up

After being broken up with when I was 17 because of my mental health issues, I thought being broken up with for any reason besides myself would be better. But now that I've been broken up with because he thought he could never be good enough for me, I can tell you that when he says "it's not you, it's me" and he actually means it, that sucks even more. Why can't I be the one that decides who's not good enough for me? Because boy, you were not inadequate, you were perfect

torn because my new face cleaner has done wonders for my acne but my face gets super oily with in an hour and needs to be washed 4x a day... hmm. i need help if anyone else has unmanageably oily skin (i mean the glistening, leaves-marks-on-paper oily) and knows of any face cleaners under 20$ that’d be amazing because i have class next semester 8am-4pm with no breaks so i’ll be the dagobaa swamp by Brit Lit. I need something that will be long-term skin change so I can use it in my morning shower and not worry about my face until after dinner.Â

I hate the "clingy girlfriend" stereotype because it makes me nervous to be the one to suggest hanging out with my boyfriend. Even though I'm sure he doesn't care and he probably WANTS to hang out, the stereotype is looming over my head, nagging to me in an anxiety that keeps me constantly writing and erasing texts and says I should wait a couple days before asking him over. What the heck?
