Introductory Post Time
If you know me, you know me, you can skip to the tags bit. If not, hi, you can call me Lyn. No, that is not my real name, and no, you are not getting my real name :P
I'm an adult woman* living somewhere in the US. I'm not fully woman, but frankly that takes too much brainpower for my very likely AuDHD self to investigate.
This is my main blog that all of my irls have, and I do reblog spam a decent amount here. I have a tag (listed below) for my personal rambles/writings, so filter me to only that if that's what you want from me. Don't expect them to be too frequent though, motivation very rarely strikes.
As for the content you'll see on this blog, it'll probably be a lot of things my mutes and friends are interested in, as well as whatever else catches my fancy. I don't make any effort to maintain a consistent tone, because my thoughts don't, so why should I?
As of writing this (January 17th, 2026) this blog will from here on remain relatively sft. I have a recently made sideblog for those posts, although THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY TRUE BEFORE THE ABOVE DATE. Consider yourself warned. Also, if you want to go looking for my sideblog, you do so at your own risk. I won't ask you to stop, but don't blame me for anything you find. If you want a hint: the last sentence of this post is fairly similar to one in that blog's introductory post.
I've linked my sideblog below this paragraph so that my mutuals with certain proclivities don't have to look. If youre an irl, here be dragons. Here it is :3

But first, a note:
I've had this account for *checks notes* too long to go back and retroactively tag everything. These tags only apply to things posted after January 16th, 2026.
#ramblyn - Rambles, vents, and things about my life. Do not expect particularly good writing quality here.
#writlyn - Good (not good but at least better) quality long writing and decidedly iffy poetry. Most of my creative energy goes to my sideblog, but who knows, maybe I'll get a bunch of use out of this.
#depresslyn - My mental health is... tenuous at best, and as I'm transitioning this to a more personal blog, it's going to show up here. If you don't want to see that, block this tag. Note that this tag only applies to my personal experiences and thoughts, not the subject of mental health entirely.
No tag - Most of my reblogs probably won't have a tag. I don't have the energy to write one beneath each random post I want to reblog.
I'll update this list as more tags get added.
With that all said, thanks for being here, and welcome to the shallows of my self.
