Digimon Tri missed the opportunity to give Agumon and Gabumon new Ultimate digivolutions and possibly reveal a new Omegamon (not counting Mercymode). Honestly I was hoping that the reboot would make it so all the digimon have to work their way back up to Ultimate, and in the process instead of unlocking WarGreymon/MetalGarurumon they unlock VictoryGreymon and ZeedGarurumon.... and of course that would have allowed for the reveal of the Victory/Zeed version of Omegamon that has been neglected.

[[Though, yeah, there are a few too many Omegamons, but they created *Mercy Mode* Before that one!!]]

But yeah, it could've helped represent the growth Taichi and Yamato (less Yamato) went through during the Tri movies--- they've started to look at the world differently, and because their digimon cant remember when they unlock their Ultimate forms again they're different and stronger--

There’s a Miyakari fic out there somewhere in which the two of them sneak away to the digital world in the middle of the night and have a ‘sortakinda wedding but not really’ ceremony with basically a digital world version of soul bonding– AND I CANT FIND IT D: It was such a good one shot but I cant find it and I thought it was on AO3 but it’s not in their tag?!?!

Aka there’s this amazing Miyakari oneshot that hits all my buttons— and I was like 99% certain it was real, but I’m starting to wonder if I dreamed it up? And I wanna read it like right now.

I can't believe Catradora is a thing now

Not a hate post-- but literally my 80s She-Ra crack ship was them. I had very little to go on for this and I dont remember there being any other supporters (I wasn't much in the fandom when I watched the 80s version though-- especially because I was like 20-30 years late to the party at the time)

Idk I just find it amazing how much a ship can change with a reboot lol

My theory on Pokemon Sword/Shield legendary(s)-

Posting this so if I get proved right later I can reblog this as proof lol.

So today is the 27th of February 2019– and I finished the direct not too long ago. I noticed something about the logos for the new games though.... they both have wolves at the top of the logo.... a bit of an odd choice, seeing as the logo usually hints at the legendary for the specific game—- and having wolves on both hints that either the enemy team has a wolf motif (a bit of a longshot there) or both legendaries are wolf related.

So here’s my hot take: Either we’re getting twin legendary wolves, like the twin dragons for Unova, or we are getting a single legendary this time that has version exclusive forms based on a sword and a shield....

(Interestingly, Rome’s Romulus and Remus are associated with wolves, and the Roman empire spread all the way to the UK during the height of it’s power—- possibly linked with this? Probably not: but its a tidbit I found interesting and didnt want to leave out of this post)
