Can we talk about this? There's so many things going on:

Iruma is given a "special item that can only be used once and can summon whatever you want". From other shounen manga you kinda assume that this item will be saved for later for the arc climax when the MC is in a tight spot, but no, he uses immediatly

Which bring us to the second thing and that is Iruma is becoming more a demon by the day. He is becoming greedy, impatient, while still being a cinnamon roll which is awesome since we see him change but at the same time stay his self which is a hard thing to write IMO

And the most wholesome thing, what does iruma summon??? AZZ and CLARIN askfjsjkasdhjkasdf. Do you see Iruma's face when he says "There's something I really, really want" and on the next panel you see Clara and Alice beaming I can't- My heart-

There's also the world building going on in this chapter with the many ears race and the previous conversation with Bachiko but then i'll never be done yapping

I can't stress enough how good this manga is

(Tho it plays with my feelings since it makes me thing it'll go on the trio rute but that's just wishful thinking... anyways let's not dampen the mood....)

If I got a Yen whenever I got obsessed over a media, to then find out said media was based of a over 100 years old book series and get obsessed over the books as well, I'd have two Yen, witch isn't much but is funny how it happened twice.

(This is about JTTW and the oz verse. I still haven't read the oz books but I seriously considering to.)

Although I see your point, I must say kindly disagree with some of your points.The context between both movies are almost, if not completely different, so their parenting styles will also be different.

Ming had extremely high expectations in Mei to the point to over push her, while Mr. ping’s only expectations in Po was him to inherit the restaurant.

Mr. ping is easy going because he doesn’t expect Po to be the best of the best and is surrounded by the comfort of his hometown, while Ming is trying to make her daughter stand out as a child of immigrants while protecting their culture.

Ming does not realize how much her strictness affects her Mei and strongly believes she is doing the best, and does not notices she is doing the same thing her mother used to do.

Ping realizes that Po is already under a lot of pressure, and instead of pushing him to follow the expectations he had to Po, he supports that his son and shows how proud he is no matter what.

I would say these two medias show that different families have different dynamics depending on the context they live.

By the way, if Ming is "stereotypical" is because the creator herself had experiences with her mother or friends that went through that stereotypical way. I am not Chinese myself, but growing up in Japan I would say Turning red did a very good job at showing the strictness of Asian parents.
