I am a Key Worker. I work in a primary school with children aged 5-8. I still have to go to work so that crucial healthcare workers, doctors and nurses can do their jobs. Please please PLEASE stay at home if you can. This is important. This is not a drill. School staff are exhausted, we’re scared but we’re SHOWING UP to look after those children who still need us. We’re exposing ourselves to this virus every day to make sure these kids are safe and cared for while their parents help heal our world.

It’s my birthday today. My boyfriend bought me a cardboard cutout of @taylorswift and I decided to wear my StellaxTaylorSwift shirt, the MAC lipstick Taylor wears and show off my new Lover era inspired butterfly tattoo.

I think this is possibly one of the last photos I have of my brother and I with our dad. I must have been about 13/14. Never in my worst nightmares could I have predicted that at 17 years old, I’d lose him forever.

It’s been 8 years now since he died and it still doesn’t feel real. I don’t think it ever will. I’ll never see his face again. Never hear him laugh again. Never get to tell him I love him ever again. He won’t see me get married or have children of my own. I think that’s the saddest part, not the memories we lost, but the memories we’ll never have.
