#Thursday #TBT we had just moved in to our new home and I didn't even have much time to unwind or get anything situated because Inhad to be into work that next morn at 8 and it was around 1130-12am when I got my lil stuff into my new place. I remember moving in that FIRST day RIGHT AFTER working FOURTEEN+ hours with LITERALLY: my clothes, Bean clothes, my futon, and my cousin had given me her dinnette table with 2 chairs along with a few cleaning products. THAT'S IT. NO food, NUN to drink but the remaining water I had in my work jug, NO tissue to wipe my ass, NO rags or towels (I remember using one of my son's baby rags and his towel🤞🏼), NO dressers, NO bed (we slept on my futon🤞🏼 and even a blowup mattress I bought🤞🏼 because my bed remained in storage and I cudnt afford to get it out while struggling to maintain my new home AND livin the single mom life AND taking care of my child doing MAJORITY and the MOST part by myself without his father 💯🤞🏼). I'm talkin I was down bad. And yeah, NOBODY knew a thing. As said before I wear pain and struggle well. But in the end, a lil over 6 months later (now), I've manage to add on little by little and make this place our very own. & I am so grateful for everything: the pit falls, down falls, struggles, come ups, and blessings that I have come across here in Alabama. I don't take SHIT for granted and I'll FOREVER remain humble. To see that SMILE on my son's face and know that he's happy and content and has a space to call his own where he can roam, have fun and play. Or WHATEVER.
