Game Diary | Super Mario Sunday | Super Luigi Bro U

Imagine younger me, who had playing on his Wii for a long time. He and his family would play Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Bros Wii all the time. Then we see ads for the new Wii U, and for Christmas, they give us a Wii U bundled with Skylanders: Swap Force and Super Luigi Bro U. I haven't beat Super Luigi since. Why? Because I am not that good at games. Let's get started! The Good. It plays and looks just like New Super Mario Bros U, but with no Mario, a higher difficulty and a new playable character. The difficulty works well and Mario doesn't really need to be in this game but... The Bad. Nabbit, can't use power ups, gets in the way, Angry Joe, take the stage "I HATE PURPLE BUNNIES" Me too. The Ugly. It is unoriginal and is a clone of New Super Mario Bros U, but still is pretty good. 6/10

Game Diary | Free 2 Play Friday | Team Fortress 2

So I have a new way of reviewing, I do the the Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the score. First the Good, the cartoon-e design of the game looks beautiful, all 12 of the classes play smoothly, the maps are all well designed, the physics work well, the gamemodes are all fun and everything work. The Bad, nitpick time with Nitpick Joe, here you go Joe: I hate when I jump into a match and no one is there, and I f***ing hate when f***ing d***y sniper f***ing b.. Just Dang Cool back here and now it's time for the ugly, Joe are you okay? The Ugly, nothing, no easily visual bugs or op classes and items, no graphicly ugly areas or textures, you know why, Valve Software, the creators of Half Life, Portal, DOTA2, Left 4 Dead, The Steam launcher, Counter Strike and the Source Engine made this game, a sequel to a smaller project. Hmm sounds familiar, *cough* (Black Mesa) *cough* (DOTA) *cough* (Narbacular Drop) *cough* (Left 4 Dead) *cough* Sorry I had something stuck in my throat. The Score is 8/10

Game Diary |  Sonic 25th Anniversary Part 3

So you're expecting me to talk about Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, but nope I am going to talk about my Top 5 Names for Project Sonic 2017, here we go! 5. Sonic 5, I don't know, cuz I like that name. 4. Sonic Generations 25, It's not Sonic Generations 2, its Sonic Generations 25, cuz it's Sonic's 25th Birthday, dang Sonic, you gettin old. 3. Sonic Adventure 25, It's not Sonic Adventure 3, its Sonic Adventure 25, cuz it's Sonic's 25th Birthday, dang Sonic, you gettin old. 2. Sonic 2017, maybe it is gonna be called Sonic 2017? Game Diary | Sonic 25th Anniversary Part 2

So yesterday I said I would a three part series explaining the three upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog games, so here is part 2. Today will be a trailer analysis of the Project Sonic 2017 trailer. It starts with a brand new Sega intro with bright colors and some voice that sounds like something out of a Dance Dance Revolution machine saying "Sega". Then showing the following text,"FROM THE TEAM THAT BROUGHT YOU SONIC COLORS / SONIC GENERATIONS" followed by the Sonic Team logo. We are then greated to GIANT ROBOTS DESTROYING A CITY!!!!! with spoopy music playing. Then the text "IN THE DARKEST OF TIMES" followed by more robots. Then more text saying "swoas' LOL nope. No but really it said "THE WORLD NEEDS A HERO". To save us from Sega's bad reputation!! Then a shot a Sonic's arm as he stares out into the distance. Then a shot of Sonic's mouth zoom's out while rotaing towards Sonic's face. Then he starts running, and jumps and spin dashes into a dramatic "Superhero Landing" (good for you if you got that refrence). We then see Sonic run through rubble and we get a butt load of nostalgia from seeing him run in 2D!!! WOW! Then we see text saying "BUT EVEN HEROES NEED HELP" OMG TAILS!!! Nope.. It's nostalgia Sonic. Hey, isn't he getting his own game? Sonic stops time to give him a thumbs up, yay! Ooh dat classic bureeeiiing! Two scoops of blue blur sir. So much Sonic jokes. "JOIN THE RESISTANCE"? Okay sure, how are the hours? Oh theres a release date HOLIDAY 2017, what holiday? Also stop yelling. NX? WOW!

Game Diary | Sonic 25th Anniversary Part 1

So recently Sonic turned 25 and to celebrate, Sega announced 2 new games Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017, to go with the previously announced Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice. I will tell you about all these game in a three part series. 1st, Sonic Mania. Sonic Mania looks incredibly similar to a classic Sega Genesis game, down to the stage themes. We know of two stages from the game, Green Hill Zone and Studiopolis. Studiopolis is themed around the old Casino stages and gets its name from the real location of the same name where several aspects of Sonic games are made. Green Hill Zone is a throwback to the first stage in the original Sonic the Hedgehog and it's mobile rerelease, Sonic 1. Speaking of Sonic 1, it's creator Christen Whitehead along side Headcannon and some other people that I can't remember (and of course Sega). We also know that Sonic, Tails and Knuckles we playable. That is it. Bye. "I wanna play as silver" Shut up Fabio.

Game Diary | Atari Flashback 4

So, a while ago on my dad's birthday, we got him an Atari Flashback 4, since he used to play Atari when he was a kid. Usally we would get together for a family Space Invaders competition. One day me and my brother started playing a few of the preloaded games like Breakout, Frontline, Pong, Space Wars and Adventure to name a few. It was faithful recreation of the old Atari 2500. There were a few flaws like the wireless controllers. Atari games were made for wired controllers, so stopping out of no where to get your connection straight can get annoying quick. Nitpicking time! 1.The controls in Breakout can be pretty sensitive, even to the point where you are moving so slow you miss the ball (same with Pong). 2. Nothing else that is it 7.5/10
