good god, i tried to ask an alexa why their light was yellow (i haven't interacted with one in years and was trying to help a senior citizen with their echo) and i remembered a few years ago i could ask an alexa the meaning of their different light patterns. but because of ai, the alexa responded by telling me about its feelings instead of just telling me there was a notification that had to be read before it could go into setup mode
