Are we friend? Or foe?
s/o to everyone that makes icons from in-game caps because ive made 3 for samara and already am miserable
@turianrebel
she finds him upon her inspection of the ship and thinks it a terrible place to locate one’s self, so far away from the glimmer of distant stars. it is, however, a place that allows at least some aspect of solitude, which samara finds she can agree with, as her own preferred place of meditation thus far has a habit of being interrupted by loud crew members chattering about things and places and people she doesn’t even attempt to take interest in.
“i requested access to your files,” samara states plainly, arms folding over her chest as she surveys the room surrounding them, “but commander shepard suggested i simply speak to you instead.” perhaps not the most efficient way of gathering information, she thinks, but a well-intentioned one nonetheless. “i heard of your actions during the time i spent on omega.” her lip curls with faint disdain, though features remain placid. “i cannot say i enjoyed my time there, though it was necessary.”
but how the fuck does space common law work
@sbjctzero
oh, but she is powerful, this one. samara can sense the energy crackling from her upon first meeting, recognizes the tension in tattooed fingers that can only come from a a fellow biotic. the few human biotics she had encountered had been of little interest, fragile enough to make her think humans were not built to withstand such, even as their corporations were eager to attempt such. (the thought of little boys and girls broken and bent in pursuit of profit is enough to turn even her stomach.) however, this one, jack, is different. there’s real power in her, and the sort that seems all bu t pulsing with the desire to be unleashed. morinth had power too, she thinks before she can help it, though the thought is of little use now and she pushes it aside quickly.
“your markings,” head lilts lightly to the side, “they a human tradition, no? do they have meaning for you?” she’s surprised to see the woman in the bay in the first place, as close a place to public as one could find aboard the ship, and seizes her chance to question with little regard for the personal nature of her inquiries. “you have...many.”
@bestiare // TALI !
“i heard of your exploits with the former crew of the normandy, though i suppose near all have by now,” she states simply , coolly, “i have found there is little that interests me outside of my own ventures, but i will admit, i am impressed.” what goes unsaid is that it’s the first thing that’s interested her in centuries. so many of the species around her are impossibly, insufferably short-sighted, caring for little beyond immediate pleasure or vainglorious grasps at power, and in turn samara made the decision long ago to remove herself from it all, save when required.
still, her interest has been piqued and for that, she isn’t yet bored.
“your’s is a resourceful people,” she glances over her shoulder, gloved fingers absently tracing the edge of the bay window, “i have always admired that in the quarians. i have heard you are resourceful, as well.”
im working on finishing icons but consider this a starter call !
i am a ruined vessel of sorrow and regret, but i am free.
