"Considering your arrest record, I don't believe that solution would be satisfactory." He frowns. It concerned him how laid back the mech was. His door doorwings twitch in irritation.
"that still doesn't answer my question about what it is made of."
"Whatever I decided to grab from the shelf. Does that satisfy your overworked processor?" Vortex vents while waving a servo to the selection of bottles behind him. His visor dims, and he reaches to grab the drink near the Autobot for himself.
"You know what, I changed my mind. I'll take this instead." He takes a swig of the drink, and then another before humming. "Well, whatever I picked is good. You missed out."
"Hey!" He's grumpy now. He had been working up the nerve to drink it. And now there was no drink. Greedy helicopter.
His arms are crossed and his doors are sagging. Pitiful...

"A little bit of this, and a little bit of that." Vortex replies as his visor flashes. His servo rests under his chin, watching the questionable Autobot and giggling.
"Does the nervous enforcer need me to test it first so he knows it's safe~?"

"I'm not drinking that..."
Not with 'tex's track record. Absolutely not...
"What~? Don't like my bartending skills?" The Combaticon teases while flicking his rotors. A claw flicks out to push the drink closer to Prowl as he leans against the table.
"You can always go somewhere else if you're too scared to try it."
"What's in it?" He's frowning, grabbing it and inspecting it closely. He knows some of the nefarious things that vortex has done in the past. He wouldn't put it past him to put some crazy ingredients in it.

"Wait. You're not codeblue. You're... Medix. Right?" Prowl asks, letting his processor catch up. He had crashed again. But instead of his favorite medic, he had woken up to his twin...
Medix glanced down at Prowl from where he sat upright on the berth reading. His gaze a bit imperceptible. There wasn't Codeblue's sardonic grin lighting up his features, no haunted look in his optics. He was just... professionally relaxed. He stood as Prowl spoke and leaned over to get a more proper scan.
"Yeah, I'm surprised you could tell the difference. How're you feeling?" He asked. He paused for a moment and sat back on his heels. "Sorry for the situation, by the way. Blue wasn't in a place to properly handle you crashing next to him in berth. Scalpel called me in. She handled most of it, though. Got into bits of you most medics need specialized tools or hopes and prayers for." He mused, his tone light but not nearly as performative as his brother's. Looking closer one could see the actual differences. Medic was stockier, had clearly gotten some defensive armor upgrades at some point. His blues were lighter and where Codeblue would have silver or darker blue Medix had hints of red and yellow. At one point in their lives, however, they were likely identical if you didn't look for the small differences.
He was pulling out a medical interfacing cord from his arm when the door to the habsuite opened and a tired and harrowed looking Codeblue entered, relief at seeing Prowl awake causing his expression to soften immediately and light up in that over-the-top fashion he used to compensate for his own internal struggles. "Hey! You're up! That's great! I can call off the plans to try waking you up with a marching band. You would not BELIEVE the rate those go for these days!"
"the room's spinning and I've got a processor ache. Other than that I feel ok." He replies honestly. When the twin he did know entered, prowl shot him a smirk.
"you look horrible." CB can tell he's being playful, trying to lighten the mood despite half his systems still being under medical quarantine.
"Is there a reason why Blinker is not in your facility? Because I happen to be staring at him in lock up and it's really making my logic circuits fritz."
"..." Well, I guess it pays to have one of Iacon's best police in your pockets but what the frag did Blinker do this time to get caught.
... He better not be trying to get into evidence storage again.
.: I'll come get him :.
.: That's not what I asked. :.
Trepan can hear the slight irritation, not at anyone in particular but at the circumstances in general. Blinker kept his mouth shut, which Prowl knew was in the norm for the mech, but he was also rather talented too. If he was in here, either something was wrong somewhere or he himself was wrong and that wasn't often...
It made his circuits tingle. Primus, he could feel the crash coming already...
.: I don't know, Prowl, it is his day off. Just because he is one of my woeful waifs of the facility, doesn't mean I have some sort of tracker on him :.
Still, he's finding what paperwork he needs if he has to go play lawyer and bail his guard out of lock up. And, ultimately, find out why someone as cunning and resourceful as Blinker even managed to get arrested.
.: What are his charges, by the way? :.
.:Waived. On the grounds of lack of proper evidence. Just come get him. Before he gets any ideas... :.
The enforcer that had logged blinkers report had failed to produce a verifiable reason for why he was here. It was the catalyst for prowl's call to trepan.
They have everything they need for the perfect prank. There's some Primus awful paint colors, some glitter and the schedule. And Sideswipe and Sunstreaker knew that they could set up the glitter bomb to go off just after Prowl sat down at his desk.
So with a few moments to spare, they also wrapped his chair in bubble wrap.
Just for the extra touch, and the last bit, some seranwrap at his door to make an 'invisible barricade'.
He's not blind. His sensors pick up the wrap and it makes him pause. An improvised trap! Someone had been in his office...
The plastic didn't fool him, neither did the bubble wrap.
His flaw was the amount of time he took while disarming the paint and glitter bomb. Instead of painting all of him as intended...
It painted his torso and face...
When he got his hands on the ones responsible for this...

Prowl is standing at his door, doorwings sagging, energy reserves low, and evidence of a chase all over his chassis. He was dirty.
"Optimus?"
The monochrome mecha ges used to seeing is Jazz.
That's his amica after all. With all of his sharp smiles and jokes and gremlin habits. There used to be another, but they haven't come home. Optimus had accepted that.
Prowl was an independent creature and when no emergency hails came... His trackers found nothing either. So he let time March on.
Which is why his helm whips up. Fins cocked forwards and optics going wide at the sight that greets him. Monochrome, save for the vivid red on his brow. Even through the dust and mud and-
" Prowl! Oh Promus- Prowl why aren't you in medbay?!" Worry peaking sharply as he thrusts up from his desk.
"I don't look that bad do I?" He asks with an awkward smile. Prime could see that he was not as good as he was trying to pass off. He swayed after a moment, stumbling into him. His biolights were dim.
"did you miss me?" He smiles again before frowning at his own troubles.
A soft peck is planted on Prowl’s forehelm before his chin is gently tilted up and a more confident kiss is pressed to his lipplates.
An alarm blares and the mystery bot hurries away, leaving behind the faint scents of smoke and water with an undertone of grilled beef, fry grease, and the sweeter tang of popsicle juice.
Heatwave thinks he's slick...
@faultfindingfirebot
😳 -Codeblue can't help but be a little mad about how pretty he thinks Prowl is
This is a medic thing, isn't it. Always hitting on the other emergency services because we all flirt with danger?
(it's ok. Codeblue is very cute and prowl agrees)
😳
👀
Prowl is looking. He like what he sees too.
