Bruises and Bruising

“I know you don’t do it on purpose, but I wish you’d stop coming home bruised.”

“Ouch, that looks like it hurts.”

“You shouldn’t end up with bruises because you disagree with them. You know that, right?”

“Will you tell me how it happened?”

“Come and sit with me.”

ACTIONS

[sit] – sender comes and sits next to a bruised receiver. no words, just warmth.

[care] – sender provides physical care for receiver’s bruises (ice pack, wrapping them up, etc)

[shower] – sender takes one look at a bruised and bloody receiver, and goes to run them a shower. hot showers fix everything.

[offer] – sender has something they know receiver will want, and because receiver has had a bad enough day as it is, sender gives it to them. it’s the little things.

[stay] – sender offers receiver a place to stay, so that – wherever they got these bruises – they don’t have to go back.

[concussion] – sender checks receiver for a concussion, because it’s very possible receiver has one.

[home] – sender has no physical way of helping receiver out of this situation, but they offer out their hand anyway. just to hold onto (and to not let go).

Of all the mechs who could have captured him, he hadn't expected it to be the Insecticons.

"I didn't know you bugs got this big. Didn't know you could think hard enough to capture one of us on your own either."

“Than underestimating us was your first mistake (stake).” he announced smugly, a sharp-toothed grin on his face.

Compared to regular earth insects Shrapnel and his brothers were gigantic so Hound wasn’t wrong. However compared to other cybertronians the Insecticons came up somewhat short, which was part of the reason the Autobot had been forced onto his knees. Your prisoner standing taller than you was not a good way to establish authority.

“Any one of us is more than a match for you (you).” A bold claim, but one he was almost too confident in. “You’re lucky it wasn’t Bombshell who caught you or you wouldn’t have the freedom to talk like that (that).”

"You keep telling yourself that Shrapnel. Whatever keeps your ego from imploding."

He's grinning despite the situation. Even though it sucked royally, he was learning about these Insecticons.

"Where is Bombshell anyway? Does he know what you did?" he asked smugly, adjusting from where he knelt.

He’s struggling to vent as the blade is worked deeper and deeper. There’s a flash of bright fluids from behind the armor and the sound of pressure being released, steady and bright energon dripping down his finish in between cracks and seams.

Errors are popping up on his HUD about a partial pressure loss somewhere. It’s not really hard to figure that one out…

“I bet he’s rough too.” It’s pained, loud, rushed, but able to be understood.

Like watching a horror movie, Vortex’s visor brightens up at the bleeding and he wants to see more. Maybe he could get the ‘Bot to make some noise as well. He would like more of a show after all. 

“Mm-hm. You’re not interested, are you? Because I doubt Ons would mess around with the enemy. I could maybe convince Brawl. He’s rough too just not authority-like.” As he speaks he shifts around to use his body weight to fully stab the rotor right through Hound’s frame. Kabob time has finally happened. And he still has three more rotors to go.

This time he screamed, loudly. It echoed around the space they occupied several times before petering out. He had tensed as the rotor pushed through only to collapse once it stopped moving. There's a growing puddle of fluids dripping from him. More than one color.

The sound of an approaching engine is loud. Redlined and urgent. There's a second one not far behind. The cavalry was close.

There's a warm servo on swindles shoulder. It's Hound. He's got a nice and warm cube of energon in his servo and he's offering it. "Doesn't matter if we're opposite sides, someone's gotta take care of you." ( @mudandholograms )💕

Swindle scowls.

Tempted to knock that hand, and the cube, away. But he's low on fuel and repairing from the scuffle that had come when they caught him. He'd gotten some good licks in tho'.

Proud of that he takes the cube. Scowling at the Autobot.

" We are on opposite sides. Or were at least. Wars over. As soon as my lawyer gets here I'm gone. Dunno why you arrested me to begin with."

"That was Prowl. He's a stickler." Hound shrugged.

"I saw how scuffed you got when you came in. I know you aren't the biggest fan of being touched but I'm here to help if you'll let me." He does have some cleaning supplies and an armor repair kit on his person.

" I don't particularly care for your help." Swindle tongues at his fangs. Checking for anything loose after taking that hit. Flexing his bare knuckles. Irritable that all his rings had been confiscated.

Sniffing," Your boss better gimme back -all- of my belongings this time!"

Testing the fuel with a sip. Nothing comes back chemically tainted so he downs it.

"You'll get everything back, I promise." He replied, sitting down on the floor.

"too bad you won't let me help you. I typed your paint color and everything so I could do some touchups for you." Sure enough it's the perfect shade and he even has a gloss clear coat to add on if he needs to.
